Description: |
A vast sculptured swimming pool complex is at the centre of the EXOTIC & TRANQUIL MAR AZUL RESORT, enhanced by flowing canals, fountains, cascading waterfalls, a giant overflowing bowl, sunken deck-chairs, jacuzzi beds, and romantic thatched cabanas with lovely comfortable armchairs & settees. All this surrounded by lush & exuberant semi-tropical gardens, an aparthotel, leisure centre, and only 72 super-luxurious apartments.
These apartments are arranged in an appealing "V" shape, facing South. The open end of the "V" is purely beach & sea! The resort is designed in such a way as to provide each apartment with the intimate privacy that one may expect from a private villa, also ensuring that they all receive their fair share of the Mediterranean Sun.
This raised ground floor apartment with spacious terrace & private lawn is perfectly situated right on the edge of the shallower inner pool, and overlooks all the stunning pool areas, those spectacularly colourful gardens, and the glorious blue Mediterranean Sea beyond. Watch the fishing boats drawing in their nets from bed !
The large area provided by the terrace and our private lawn can be rendered child-friendly by the easy erection of the provided trellises to cover the openings in the front garden wall, and a gate to guard the 5 privacy steps down to pool-side. Sun-loungers are provided around the pool, and youre only a stone`s throw from the beach & Sea.

Vast full-width sliding doors open from both the master bedroom and lounge onto the sun-drenched terrace, on which there is an attractive glass dining table, 6 comfortable chairs (2 of which recline) and two loungers.
This is the perfect place for those alfresco breakfasts in the morning. The perfect place for spreading yourselves out and relaxing during the day. The perfect place for a romantic candle-lit dinner in the evening `till late.

Ultra modern kitchen featuring :- Siemens dishwasher, washing machine & tumble-dryer all hidden away behind beautifully sculptured cupboard doors & under granite worktops. Fully integrated stainless-steel fridge, freezer, microwave & cooker. Convenient feature marble serving-hatch to dining area.
Highest quality Marble on floors, walls and surfaces in bathrooms, complemented by :- Frosted-glass privacy screens and bidet in both bathrooms; Hydro-massage shower in a perfectly-matching marble cubicle; Additional rinsing shower over jacuzzi bath; "His & hers” wash-basins; Piped music; Vast electrically heated mirrors which never steam-up !
Unfortunately, there’ll be no rushing the ladies out of these bathrooms!
Internet access is available at MAR AZUL reception, and wi-fi in our communal Aparthotel lounge. Alternatively internet access can be provided in the apartment at a small extra charge.
Baby sitting services can be arranged by our receptionist, and a cot & high-chair are supplied within the apartment.
There is good mobile phone reception. A private land-line telephone is offered as an optional extra.
The garage, apartment, gardens and pool areas are all accessible by lifts, ramps, and wide walkways suitable for wheel-chair users. There is an hydraulically operated chair-lift for easy access into the inside heated pool. For the security conscious, we have :-
Video & audio entry system; Magnetic key-cards; Underground car park with remote-controlled gates & lift; Safety deposit box in master bedroom; 24 hour security: 24-hour reception desk to turn to if you experience any sort of problem. These all combine to enhance the relaxing and care-free ambiance here on MAR AZUL.

I HAVE LEFT THE BEST TO THE LAST ! Or you could drive and leave your hire-car in the two-tier car-park UNDERNEATH the spectacular promenade.
Estepona is the focal point of this luxury resort area because of it’s authentic and unspoilt Andalusian atmosphere. A real living Spanish town of 30,000 souls, the ebb & flow of Estepona’s daily and seasonal rhythms moves very much as it has done for centuries, reminiscent of another unchanging ebb & flow, that of the shimmering turquoise sea rippling up it’s beautiful wide sandy beach.

Special notes Price includes all electricity used. There are no meters. Price includes full & unlimited access to the leisure centre.
I am happy to negotiate special terms for extended Winter holidays, such as 4 weeks for the price of 3 !
30% deposit on booking. Balance due 8 weeks before holiday. A £100.00 damage deposit is charged, which is FULLY refunded if the apartment is left in good order.
Payments normally by cheque, or direct bank to bank transfer. PAYPAL accepted, but with a 3% surcharge ( thats less than they charge me ! )
In the event of a holiday needing to be cancelled, I ask to be advised as soon as possible, whereupon I will use my best endeavours to re-let. If I can re-let, I will return your deposit, less any expenses incurred for additional advertising etc. I strongly advise that cancellation insurance is taken out.
(If you find that my apartment is booked when you required it, let me know, as I may be able to help arrange an alternative apartment to rent on MAR AZUL.)
