Description: |
This lovely apartment has two bedrooms. The master bedroom comes with a comfortable double bed and a large walk in wardrobe where you can store all of your belongings. This bedroom also has an en-suite bathroom complete with bath/shower, washbasin and toilet.
The second bedroom has two single beds, one of which can be stored under the other during the day to give more space. Both bedrooms come with fresh linen for use on arrival.
Guests in the second bedroom have use of the second bathroom which comes complete with a shower unit, washbasin and toilet.
The kitchen has all of the mod-cons necessary to make your stay a hassle free one including coffee maker, microwave, kettle, toaster and washing machine...
The living/dining area has a double sofa which easily converts into a double bed for the fifth and sixth guests. This area is flooded with natural light thanks to the numerous windows in the lovely gallery area making it a lovely place to sit back and relax in after a long day of sightseeing or shopping. There is also a TV and DVD player for your use and wireless internet connection for catching up with your family back home...
The area surrounding the apartment is known as the Eixample district, the birthplace of the Modernism movement, home to the wonderful works of Antoni Gaudí. When looking to experience Barcelonas world renowned reputation for architecture, this area is king.
The famous and impressive Sagrada Familia, Gaudís La Pedrera and Casa Batlló in the Manzana de la Discordia and the sprawling Hospital de la Santa Creu in Sant Pau -are all within walking distance.
The Grŕcia neighbourhood, which is at walking distance too, takes you into an entirely diferent world. Grŕcia has a very special and unique character that lies somewhere between a bohemian artsy enclave and the latest cutting-edge trends with a lively and vibrant atmosphere; a popular spot for both nocturnal and daytime leisure activities with unique bars and restaurants and houses featuring outstanding examples of Catalan art-noveau architecture, such as Gaudis Casa Vicens and Domčnech i Montanerss Casa Fuster.
