Description: |
Finca Las Encinas - The Oaks - is a lovely 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom rustic villa with stunning views set within its own 7 acres of olive and almond groves with some figs, orange, lemon, pomegranite, pear and nispero trees in fruit at various times of the year. Located at the heart of the Sierra de Las Nieves (Mountains of Snow) Natural Park and United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) Biosphere. The villa is just 2 kilometres from the hillside pueblo blanco of Tolox.
The accommodation consists of 2 double bedrooms, 1 with en-suite bathroom, 1 double bedroom has double doors leading onto the terrace, 1 twin bedroom and a family bathroom. All the beds are good quality and english size. The through lounge and kitchen both have double doors leading out onto the terrace. All rooms are furnished with high quality pine.
The 40 sq metre terrace has fantastic views out over the campo towards Mijas Mountain. The villa faces slightly south east giving the terrace full sun in the morning but shade in the heat of the afternoon sun. There are chairs for relaxing and dining table/chairs for 6 people.
Step from the terrace onto the lawn which surrounds the large 10x5 metre pool with roman steps. The deep end of the pool is 2 metres. Sun loungers provided.
The pool and lawn are surrounded by flower beds and at one end is bounded by the beautiful protected Spanish Oak trees - Encinas - after which the villa is named.
There is a large 70 sq metre barbecue area at the side of the villa with a big cooking area and seating.
Tolox is well known for the Fuente Amargosa Spa. It is a medicinal spa which makes use of the natural thermal springs which produce 14,500 litres a day at a constant 21 deg C. The water gives off a mild radio active gas which is said to work wonders with respiratory ailments. The spa is only open in the summer from 1st June to end of October and during this time there are lots of fiestas and weekend entertainment provided free in the village main plaza.
Las Encinas is an eco-friendly environment with our electricty supplied by solar panels and wind turbine.

Special notes
Payment can be made in either pound sterling or euros.
A 30% deposit is payable on booking and the balance 6 weeks before arrival date. A breakages deposit of £250 is required against damage or serious breakages and is to be paid at the same time as the balance of the rental cost.
This deposit will be returned within 14 days of the end of your rental period following inspection. In the event of any damage or serious breakages the appropriate sum will be deducted and any remaining sum refunded. |
