Holiday villa for rent in Roda de Bara

Our summerhouse is situated in Bará, a small village situated on the Costa Dorada south of Barcelona(70 km) and 25 km north of Tarragona. It’s a unique and pretty exclusive area consisting only of nice houses with big gardens. Its an area that has not been taken over by the chartertourism and it is pretty much spanish people who have their summerresidence here.

All nessesary shop are available: bakery, supermarket, restaurants, pharmacy, doctor etc. In a radius of app. 25 km. you will reach 5-6 golfcourses. Apart from that theres a big tennisclub, with many courts and in the summertime there is tennis school for kids from app. the age of 6.

There is varios beaches in the nearby(900 m). For instance a little bay besides the Roc de Sant Gaieta paticularly great for kids with quiet water and sunbeds. All beaches are sandy. Between the two main beaches there is a beautiful walk(illuminated at night). It´s a very quiet and beautyful area with some restaurants and café´s, but if you´re looking for a place to party all night this is not the place.

The house is 225 m2 and lies on a cornerground on app. 1600 m2. It has a great garden with a big kidney shaped pool, which can be illuminated at night. The house has aircondition in the bedrooms. The entire house has been completely reformated in 2005 with new floor, bathrooms, kitchen, beds etc. Apart from the 5 bedrooms, 3 on the first floor and two in the ground floor, the house has two bathrooms, 1 with tub and separate shower, the other with shower only, and two very nice living rooms with two groups of sofas etc. The interior is traditionally spanish but twisted with a modern and nordic touch. You can get a glance at the sea from the garden, but from the big terrace upstairs there is a magnificant wiew over sea and mountains.

In the garden there are 3 groups with table and chairs and sunbeds by the pool. All funiture is wooden and nicelooking. There is an outside traditional barbecue with a table for 20 persons. The garden is surrounded of a wall with cypresses making it very private. Apart from that there is automatic door and garage. Playground for kids is also a part of the garden as well as a lot of beautiful trees, olives, apple, orange, lemon, cherry, almond etc.

During the stay our gardener will be landlord, final cleaning, beach towels, daily towels and bed linen is included.

From the house there are plenty of possiblilies for a day out. Barcelona speaks for it self. Apart from that there is an amusement park a la Disneyland and Agualeon waterparadise and zoo. You are also close to the Penedes region, where the cava(spanish champagne) is produced.
