LUXURY PENTHOUSE - no ordinary rental apartment but a tastefully appointed 2nd home - every amenity for a perfect holiday. Very spacious with large rooms, 2 bedrooms both with ensuite bathrooms. A double sofa bed enables up to 6 people to share comfortably. Guests have never been disappointed. Please read their comments in our guest book below. ALFRESCO DINING - not one but two outside spaces. One on the lower level and an even larger solarium on the rooftop, offering all day round sunshine and both furnished for alfresco dining with superb views to the mountains.
POSITION - Los Naranjos de Marbella is a delightful and peaceful residential complex in the Andalucian style, whitewashed buildings, terracotta rooftops, balconies, water features, exotic gardens and a choice of beautifully clean swimming pools. Only minutes from Puerto Banus with its superb golden beaches and lavish choice of gastronomy, boutiques and leisure facilities. Ideal for romantic couples, golfers and families alike!
LAYOUT - an interesting apartment, decked in cream marble throughout, with central entrance hall and 3 doors leading off. 1st to a well equipped kitchen. 2nd to a large lounge with open fireplace and patio doors leading to main dining terrace. 3rd takes you into a large master suite with twin beds. An attractive stairway leads to a second master suite with king sized bed on the solarium level. Each suite has patio doors leading to different balconies and both have identical bath/shower rooms with high quality marble and chrome fittings and glass shower screens.
AVAILABILTY - all year around. Superbly cool in summer thanks to efficient air conditioning and cream marble floors throughout. Cosy in winter with an efficient heating system and the addition of wool rugs and oil fired radiators.
COMFORT - we have tried to think of everything to make your stay comfortable including luxurious white cotton towels and bed linen, good quality beds (1 king size, 1 double, 2 singles) and hairdryers, one with diffuser. Our home managers provide an initial clean (interim clean arranged at small extra cost). Complimentary wine and beer are available on arrival to get your holiday off to a good start.
ENTERTAINMENT - satellite TV is installed. Both DVD and CD players are available for your use including a connector for your MP3 player and quite a collection of CDs/DVDs. Internet connection is available at the clubhouse and also at various locations in both Puerto Banus and Marbella (details will be provided) at ridiculously low prices. The newly refurbished Clubhouse and restaurant with additional swimming pool and tennis courts is just 4/5 minutes walk away. A fabulous facility to have at hand. We also have guide books, games and a wealth of information available about local restaurants and attractions to ensure you are never bored!
For those who want to simply relax and enjoy the wonderful local culinary ingrediants available at a wealth of markets and superb stores, you will find everything you need in the kitchen to make cooking and dining at home a very pleasant experience.
HELP AND SECURITY - our local managers, Pam and Chris, are on hand if needed to help with any problems that may arise. You can relax and be assured that help is available when and if required. An unobtrusive 24-hour security service operates at Los Naranjos to assure your safety and a wall safe is provided for security for your valuables.
OUTDOORS - Thick cushioned sun loungers, 2 sets of tables, chairs and parasols and a barbecue are available on the sun and dining terraces along with tennis racquets, beach toys and chairs etc
PUERTO BANUS / LOS NARANJOS DE MARBELLA AREA
Do as little or as much as you like in this area as the range of activities is extensive:-
BEACHES - 2O minutes walk to the golden sands of Puerto Banus with beds available, boating facilities, many delightful beach bars selling all varieties of freshly prepared fish (cold beer and Tinto Verano of course!). Stroll along the Golden Mile using the beautiful promenade that skirts the beach, all the way to Marbella. Further beaches to suit all tastes, from the quiet, to the highly sophisticated Nikki Beach with its white leather double sofa loungers for those with champagne tastes. For karting, jet skiing, other water sports, bars and restaurants, Funny Beach is a must, just 12 minutes from the apartment, east of Marbella.
RESTAURANTS - a huge variety ranging from family oriented establishments to the tres chic, from local spanish to silver service dining at Marbella Club Hotel and La Puente Romana. Many excellent choices available within a 15 minute walk and you will be amazed at the prices of the menu del dia (from 7.5 Euros),in some Marbella restaurants along the quayside or in Marbella Old Town whose winding, cobbled streets are fascinating. Guests will receive a list of personal recommendations!
SHOPPING - hugely varied! Everything from colourful markets to El Corte Ingles, a classy department store, the designer boutiques of cosmopolitan Banus and the award winning La Canada shopping and entertainments complex (bowling and cinema). Not forgetting my favourite! Old Town Marbella, a maze of narrow, cobbled streets offering not only amazing small boutiques with a difference but tapas bars, chapels and the famous Orange Square with its pavement cafes and scent of orange blossom to spice up your shopping experience!
TENNIS - courts on site adjacent to the clubhouse, tennis rackets and balls available at the apartment so you have no excuse! The world famous Manolo Santana Racquets Club is situated a few metres from Los Naranjos with tennis, padel tennis, gym, wellness studio, pool and restaurant. 15 mins walk to further tennis and padel courts in Puerto Banus.
GOLF - this is Golf valley with its 5 high class golf courses within a few minutes drive and dozens more. Just next door we have not only a golf range but a 24hr golf course for the true enthusiasts!
INTERNET - a number of WiFi and Internet cafes available at Puerto Banus, Nueva Andalucia and Marbella either free to customers or at a minimal cost.
Fiestas, watersports, trekking, birdwatching, the list is endless but we hope this is enough to whet your appetite!
THE COSTA DEL SOL/MALAGA REGION
CLIMATE - With its superb microclimate this is an all year round holiday destination. The municipality records an average year round temperature of 18º C. Around Easter time and Autumn the temperature is usually in the mid 20s, rising to higher 20s to 30s and beyond during the summer.
POSITION - in the centre of the western Costa del Sol, between the slopes of the Sierra Blanca mountain range and the coast, Marbella and Puerto Banus is 56 kilometres (35 miles) from Málaga, the vibrant, hugely interesting and colourful capital of Andalucia.
PLACES OF INTEREST - There is much to discover in the region and not just the famous resorts of PUERTO BANUS, MARBELLA (see below), ESTEPONA and GIBRALTER.
LOCAL TOWNS ALSO INCLUDE - SAN PEDRO DE ALCANTARA, just a few minutes away by car, a real Spanish town with many fairly priced restaurants and shops plus a lovely long beach and promenade. ISTAN - only a 15/20 min drive into the mountains, this pueblos blancos (white mountain village) has breathtaking views over the valley and reservoir below. BENAHAVIS - the most mountainous village on the western Costa del Sol is located some 15 miles from Los Naranjos. Renowned for its restaurants, it is often called the dining room of Costa del Sol. It holds nine of the 60+ golfcourses in Costa del Sol.
CULTURAL CITIES - Many beautiful, cultural cities are easily accessible by car. The Moorish city of CORDOBA with its ancient ramparts or GRANADA and the dramatic and picturesque Alhambra palace. The bustling and colourful SEVILLE, Spains 4th largest city , famous for flamenco, bullfighting and orange blossom. Only an hour away is RHONDA one of Spains oldest towns, visit El Mercadillo, one of the oldest and most handsome bullrings in Spain or El Tajo, the stunning 360ft deep gorge which divides the old and "new" towns. MALAGA should not be overlooked and is in fact a very pleasant port city with its leafy Paseo del Parque, a huge variety of shops along the Calle Marqués de Larios, the Alcazabar and the Picasso Museum.
PUEBLOS BLANCOS - The mountains are scattered with the famous "pueblos blancos", whitewashed mountaintop villages. Ojen and Istan are only a15/20 minute drive with Casares just a little further. Walking is a delight in the many national park areas just inland from the coast.
RELAXATION - But if all you want to do is relax on the beach then you have literally miles of clean, sandy beach from which to choose, many of the resorts having beautiful, long promenades easy for those with pushchairs or wheelchairs. The chiringuitos on the beach are a delight with their freshly caught sardines barbecued over the sand filled boats! Whilst the many bars fronting the ports of Banus and Marbella provide endless hours of fun simply people watching!

DIRECTIONS - Los Naranjos just a 35-minute car journey from Malaga, our directions make your journey very easy.
TAXI - can be arranged for circa €50 from the airport direct to the apartment
CAR - useful to get to & from airport, visit surrounding towns/villages but not necessary. Good bus service, 15/25 min walk to various parts of Puerto Banus i.e. shops, market, beach, port.
TRAIN - runs regularly from airport to Fuengirola, with buses from Fuengirola to Marbella
BUS - direct from airport to Marbella costs approx 5 Euros
HOLIDAY PACKAGE - will be sent upon booking to help with every aspect of your holiday including flights, car hire, recommended restaurants, places of interest etc
COT - available to hire direct from apartment managers for approx 10 Euros
CLEANING – apartment will be spotlessly clean upon your arrival and an interim clean/linen change can be arranged for 35 Euros payable directly to our managers

BEDS – luxury comfortable beds bought for our own comfort and to ensure guests will want to return. And they are!! The bed on the top floor is in fact a king-size and the bed settee a very comfortable full double size!

Special notes

SHORT BREAKS - must be a minimum of 3 days and are available all year round except in July and August (min stay 1 week) The daily rate will be 1/5 of the weekly rate
PAYMENT - A booking deposit of 25% of rental is required, the balance to be paid 6 weeks prior to your holiday. In addition, a refundable key/breakage deposit of £200 is required with the final payment. This will be refunded once the apartment has been checked and found in good order following your departure.
