Description: |
Canillas de Albaida is a quiet village, situated at the most northerly part of the valley, after passing Algarrobo,Sayalonga and Competa. Approximately 52 Kilometres from Malaga and twenty nine from Velez Malaga.
Whilst set in the country north of the coast line Canillas de Albaida is very well positioned to enjoy the attractions of the Mediterranean Sea, the mountains and the beautiful countryside, making it an ideal destination for walkers, lovers of wildlife as it is situated on the edge of the national park. For those who enjoy a typical Spanish village ,and only a 30 minute drive away from beautiful beaches and the holiday resort of Nerja.
The accommodation is set at an altitude of 2085 feet above sea level.
The structure of the street reflects the Islamic past of this unique village. In Moorish the name means " The White One"

I, the owner live upstairs and will be there for you, should you need me for anything
The apartment is on the ground floor. You enter it from the back and go down a few steps to get into the apartment
There is a lovely kitchen/lounge/diner with all the facilities for your stay.
There is a washing machine in the hallway for you to use.
A lovely airy double bedroom with large fitted wardrobes.
The bathroom is modern and has a shower.
There is a nice balcony to the front of the apartment where you can experience the everyday living of the locals
You get the sun all day as the apartment is south facing.
There are lovely bars, restaurants & supermarkets within walking distance and a municipal swimming pool (for those hot days) with its own cafe/bar open from May - Sept for 3 euros a day.
THE PROPERTY IS AVAILABLE TO RENT ALL YEAR ROUND: SLEEPS 3, as there is a foldup single bed as well as one double bed
LONG TERM RENTAL...400 EUROS PER MONTH
All prices are fully inclusive of bedding, towels, including beach towels (changed weekly) heating (if required) and electric.
A welcome pack of bread, milk, juice and wine will be provided for you.

There are larger social faclilties on the coast. ie waterparks, sailing, large shopping centre, discotecs and the nearby town of Competa is larger and has more facilities.
