What is available around the region?
Only a few minutes away drive you will reach the local sandy beach! A 5min drive will take you to “Benalmadena Pueblo”, a picturesque Spanish village, with Moorish & Andalucía influence. Next by there is “Arroyo De La Miel” leisure area of Tivoli Amusement Park. With an extra 5min drive you will arrive at “Benalmadena Costa” where you can enjoy a lively nightlife, you can also visit Selmo Marina Aqua Park or take a boat tour & go fishing or dolphin watching! Puerto Marina is famous for its bars, restaurants and shopping!
It is highly recommended to have a car to be to better explore the near by cities: Water Parks in Fuengirola & Torremolinos 10-15min, Mijas mountain village 15min, Malaga city 25min, Marbella & Puerto Banus between 30-40min and there are numerous golf courses available for the keen golfer.
Visit the many tourist attractions such as: Alhambra Palace in Granada, Gilbraltar, Seville, Ronda, and Cordoba!
If you are a lover of winter sports the Sierra Nevada is only 2 hours drive for a fantastic skiing & snow boarding resort!
Transport available:
Buses: There is a bus stop in front of the supermarket at the “Altos del Higueron shopping area”, the coastal bus service goes to Benalmadena pueblo, Arroyo Del Miel, Puerto Marina and other services goes to the many near by cities.
Railways: There are 3 near by train station: Benalmadena-Arroyo de la Miel is a bit further way from El Higueron but there is taxis service from station. The train stations: Torremuele and Carvajal stations are closer to the Reserve del Higueron, but there is no taxi service from the station, you will need to get a taxi near by the station. The Trains from Malaga Airport to Fuengirola run every 30 min from 05:44hrs to 22:44hrs and from Fuengirola to the airport starts at 06:27hrs to 23:27hrs. The fares vary between €1.85 to €2.

Prices are for the apartment per week and not per person.
Extra charge of 50 EUR for Easter and Christmas
Special discount available for bookings of 3 weeks or more.
The preference will be for singles, families or couples only please.
No more than 4 adults+2 children should reside in the apartment during the rental period.
Only those named on the booking form are allowed to stay in the apartment. Name changes maybe made, if agreed with the owner prior to arrival at the apartment. Persons under the age of 21 residing in the apartment shall have parental/adult supervision.
The payments should be by EUR transfer to a bank account. The IBAN No. will be provided together with the “Booking Form”.
In order to secure the booking dates it is necessary to pay 25% non-refundable reservation fee. Payment should be received within 7 working days, a receipt will be
sent, upon cleared funds. At the same time, the lead person should sign and complete the booking form, including full name. The lead person will be responsible to finalize the payment.
A security deposit of EUR 200, is required to cover breakages and loss of keys.
The following payment is required 6 weeks before your departure:
- The final balance 75%.
- Security deposit EUR 200
- Final cleaning charge: For 4 persons EUR 85. For 5 to 6 persons: EUR 100.
Price includes: bed linen and bathroom towels. Note: Beach towels are not included.
The security deposit will be refunded in full, subject to any damages or breakages to the apartment, the return of the keys. A transfer will be returned to the Lead Name that was indicated on the Booking Form, within 10 days of departure from the apartment.
Directions and information on the apartment will be posted separately, once the final balance has been paid.
Check-in/out: Weekends, but flexible outside peak season.
Check-in 4pm and check-out 11am, however we may be flexible on times, if there are no back to back bookings. Check-in between 10pm and 8am has extra charge of 45 EUR.
