La Herradura is a beautiful, small Andalucia village in a sub tropic area, next to a lovely beach and only 45 minutes from Malaga Airport. This sub tropic climate has the advantages that in the summer it is not too hot, and it is mild during the winter. In most books they talk about this area, specific this part off the Costa del Sol that there are only 21 days a year, when there is some rain.
This means there is a very good change you have nice weather all year long.

The old village La Herradura is surrounded by Mountains far away from mass tourism. Eight out off ten people in La Herradura are Spanish. This area has the sunniest and warmest climate off Europe and earned the name Costa Tropical!!

The village is near by bigger places as: Almunécar, Nerja and the very beautiful Frigiliana (in 1993 declared to be the most beautiful town in Spain). The distance to Granada (Alhambra) is only a 45 minute drive. Ski lovers can go the Sierra Nevada. (45 min.) Golf courses are at Vélez-Málaga and in Motril, both 30 minutes drive away. Horse back riding is also possible on the beach and in the Mountains. There are lots off other recreational possibilities.

In la Herradura there are lots off diving activities, sailing etc..
In the village there are lots off nice little shops, bars with terrace and restaurants. In La Herradura you will find anything you need for your daily shopping, there is even a fresh market open every day, for fish, meat etc.. The restaurants are mainly Spanish but there are also Italian, Chinese and English restaurants in the village.

Our apartment is near the beach, (only 350 meters) at the beach there are lots off possibilities to rent beds and parasols.
Our apartment has a beautiful balcony next to the living room; there you have a view over the white town and the swimming pool. Lovely space to have your breakfast!

The big roof terrace upstairs gives you even a better view; here you can see the whole bay, beach and Mountains. If you turn your head you’ll see the Mountains leading to the Sierra Nevada.
The whole day there is sunshine, you can enjoy the sun beds, chairs, parasol etc..

In the apartment there are two bed rooms. One master bed room and one bed room with three single beds. The floors in the apartment are all marble, nice and cool and very easy to clean.

Both bedrooms have big closets and there is a possibility to rent a baby bed.

There are two bathrooms, both with shower and toilet and one with bath and bidet.

The kitchen is fully equipped, washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, microwave, big fridge with freezers.

Practical information:
Our apartment is for maximal 5 people, there is also a possibility to place/rent a baby bed.

The swimming pool is open from April till October and is only for the people living at the apartment building. Open from 10.00 till 22.00
Smoking is allowed only on the terraces. Animals are not allowed.
Bed linen and towels are available
You need to bring towels for beach and swimming pool.

Price information:
Price for one week including water, electricity and gas : 550,= euro’s
High season ( june, july, august and September) 650,= euro’s for one week.
End cleaning 65,= euro.
Laundry 35,= euro.
Minimal rent time is 7 days.
Rent price is for maximal 4 persons (incl. children). When you want to come with more people, we will charge an extra 50,= euro’s per week.
Maximum 5 people.
Rent for a baby bed is 25,= euro’s a week.
When you make a reservation, you also have to pay a deposit off 175,= euros which will be paid back after the end check in the appartment.
Payments are to be done at reservation.
