Description: |
Fully air conditioned and beautifully furnished, this apartment is truly 5 star. Situated in the gated community of El Rincon del Golf, overlooking the 6th green of Isla Canela golf course, a truly peaceful setting. Isla Canela is attached to the pretty town of Ayamonte via a small causeway bridge and five minutes away from the Portuguese border. The Costa de la Luz is an undiscovered area of Spain, still largely untouched by mass tourism. Here the original culture of the local people is still very much present and the area plays host to a large National Parks (Donana) and bird sanctuaries. If you are looking for a hidden gem, a place to get away and relax far from the hustle and bustle of ordinary life, then Isla Canela is the ideal holiday destination!
The apartment is fully air conditioned with dual function to provide heating in the cooler months. There are also ceiling fans in each bedroom for those who prefer not to use air conditioning. It is ideal for those with children, being a small development there is no trudge to the pool area, it is only a few steps away from the entrance. The apartment is fairly unique in having a shower room in addition to the 2 ensuite bathrooms, making it ideal for people who want to avoid the evening queues.
There are both adults and childrens pool, open from Easter through to October with changing rooms, showers and WC. The private gardens also have a slide and swings. Within the apartment the main terrace has a retractable awning to provide shade during those long leisurely lunches with outside dining for 6 and sun loungers. There are 2 other terraces providing seating and sun loungers.
There are tennis courts which are free to use and located approximately 400 metres from the apartment.
For your convenience you are also provided with an i-pod rechargeable docking station allowing you to listen to your own special music (bring your own i-pod) / hairdryer in each bedroom / uk adaptor plugs / tennis racquets / boogie boards / various inflatables and beach toys for the children /parasol / 6 beach mats / some loungers & chairs suitable for pool or beach use / 2 adult bicycles
Coast/Beach The beach area is 2 mins by car and has a number of chiringuitos (beach bars) and other restaurants to sustain you during those long, lazy days where you can take a leisurely lunch whilst keeping a watchful eye on the children playing happily in the sand. The beaches of Isla Canela are never crowded. The island boasts over 7km of fine sandy beach beside the clean Atlantic ocean. You can walk along the beach with the sand in between your toes from the marina to the beach area.
Golf Him indoors is the golf fanatic, please feel free to contact us for a chat about the beautiful game, were here to help. The apartment is within Isla Canela golf course and as residents you are entitled to a 50% discount on the green fees. Take yourself off for 9 or 18 holes and don’t forget to wave to friends/family as you get to the 6th green. Other courses within 30 mins include: The new Jack Niklaus course at Monte Rei (something special), Castro Marim, Costa Esuri, Islantilla, Benamor, Quinta da Ria, Quinta da Cima, Monte Rei, El Rompido and Nuevo Portil. You will find the fees in this area extremely good value for money in comparison with other parts of Spain and Portugal.
Getting here Getting here couldnt be easier. Our apartment is an easy 45 min drive from Faro airport (even I can do it), or alternatively 1hr 15 mins from Seville airport. Car hire recommended. Once on the island it is only a 2 minute drive down to the marina/beach/Ayamonte, it really is simple.
Local Area Isla Canela consists of 3 areas, the beach area has plenty of chiringuitos serving a variety of dishes, the marina area gives a wider variety of cuisine including Italian and French and the golf area where you will find the Vinccini 5 star hotel and the golf club house, both serving delicious food. Ayamonte is a beautiful pedestrianised town with many restaurants and cafes inviting you to do nothing more than sit and watch the world go by. There is a newly built park and zoo, free to enter, which is highly recommended to keep the children amused for an afternoon.

Special notes A 180 euro non refundable deposit is required to secure your booking with the balance being payable 8 weeks before the holiday commencement date. At the time of final payment a security deposit of 130 euros will be required, fully refundable within 1 week of the holiday end date subject to satisfactory inspection of the apartment by our representative.
Payment can be made in £ sterling for UK guests.
The price includes linen (except pool/beach towels) and the end of stay clean. Should you require a mid stay clean or linen change this can be arranged at cost.
We can arrange for the hire of cots and baby equipment at a reasonable charge, please ask for a quotation.
