*LONG WINTER STAYS ARE VERY GOOD VALUE*

Recently re-decorated throughout and with a completely re-furbished lounge, our house has one double bedroom, one twin room and can accommodate four people in comfort. There is also a very good double sofa bed in the living area. The fully equipped kitchen has an electric hob and oven, microwave, large ‘fridge and an extensive range of equipment. There is a fully automatic washing machine and washing lines. The bathroom comprises of a bath, shower, toilet and bidet. There is a separate downstairs toilet. For those hot summer nights there are very effective ceiling fans in the bedrooms and living area. Eco friendly panel heaters are provided for winter nights should you need them. Additional air conditioning/heating if required, please ask for details. Towels and bed linen are also provided ( beach towels too).

The patio, which has a large retractable awning and garden furniture, faces the sea and there is also an outside shower. Just up the road you will have the use of the communal swimming pool (unheated).

There are readily available taxis at the airport. Our friendly agent will meet and greet you at the house, she has a wealth of knowledge about the surrounding area. She will be your first point of contact whilst you are on holiday. This service is free between the hours of 8am and 8pm.
There is a car parking space adjacent to the patio.

Local Area
Gran Alacant is ideally situated on the Costa Blance next to and overlooking the beautiful Carabassi Beach and has a beaufiful green belt of ecological value. Approx. 5 kilometres for the very interesting town of Santa Pola and in very close proximity to the airport, but not on a flight path.
Our property itself is situated at the top near the top of a steep hill in a quiet side road off the main road which leads directly down to the beach and has shops and restaurants close to hand.
The local Tapas bars will give you a real taste of Spanish life and the local shops can supply all your needs very cheaply. The beautifully decorated Chinese restaurants are particularly good value for money Other good restaurants are just a few minutes walk away. Holiday makers enjoy gathering in the local square during the evenings where there is always a very friendly atmosphere and also an internet café should you want to catch up on those emails. Several banks are just around the corner and there is also a Pharmacy. There are also several larger super markets a short drive away in the Commercial Centre. Here you can enjoy a relaxing lunch during siesta time.
There is a wonderfull street market on Thursdays.
A short walk down the hill will bring you to the nature reserve.
Bicycles can be hired and there is a lovely coastal (flat) road which you can cycle along to Santa Pola. On this lovely coastal road NEW this year are some exquisite beach bars wonderfully furnished with double beds and sofas with live music at times.
Car hire is easy to arrange although there is a regular bus service, which passes by the end of the road. The buses go to Alicante and from there it is possible to catch a bus to many different places. There is also a frequent bus service to Santa Pola, well worth a visit. New this year is a"ROAD TRAIN" which will take you down to the beach. Back up on the train you could continue to the local shopping centre and back via the local restaurants and bars.
The Island of Tabarca is a lovely traffic free island accessed by a short ferry ride from Alicante or Santa Pola. Well worth a visit and somewhere to really relax out and enjoy a lovely meal.
If walking up the hill is not enough to keep you fit you may like to visit the NEW PARK up by the roundabout. Here there is a children's play area and a selection of outside "gym" equipment.


Costa Blanca (or White Coast)
The beaches are famous throughout Europe, and largely unspoilt, stretching for miles. The soft white sands and crystal clear waters have been awarded the Blue Flag Award by the EEC. There are also salt lakes close to Torrevieja (about 30 minutes drive from Gran Alacant) which are home to a host of wild life including pink flamingos. The City of Alicante itself is very vibrant and ideal for all your shopping needs. 1 hours drive north brings you to Benidorm. Here you can spend a day visiting the marine and exotic animal park or cool off at Aqualandia (the water park during the summer months). Or if you wish you can spend your time visiting the many bars and shops!
Just inland from Benidorm is the beautiful village of Guadalest, here you can take a boat trip on the beautiful resevoir.

Golf
There are many golf courses along the Costa Blanca, many within a 10K radius. The one in Villamartin is about 45 minutes away from Gran Alacant and considered to be one of the best in Spain.

Recientemente redecorado todo y con un salón totalmente reacondicionados, nuestra casa tiene un dormitorio doble, una habitación doble y con capacidad para cuatro personas con comodidad. También hay un sofá cama doble muy bueno en el salón. La cocina está equipada con una cocina eléctrica y horno, microondas, nevera y una amplia gama de equipos. Hay una máquina de lavado totalmente automático y tendederos. El cuarto de baño dispone de un baño, ducha, inodoro y bidet. Hay un aseo independiente. Para esas noches de verano hay ventiladores de techo muy eficaz en los dormitorios y sala de estar. calentadores de ambiente Eco panel se proporcionan para los noches de invierno si los necesita. aire acondicionado adicional / calefacción si es necesario, por favor pida detalles. Las toallas y ropa de cama también se proporcionan (pero no las toallas de playa).

El patio, que tiene una gran marquesina retráctil y mobiliario de jardín, vistas al mar y también hay una ducha exterior. Sólo por el camino que tendrá el uso de la piscina comunitaria (sin calefacción).

Hay taxis disponibles fácilmente en el aeropuerto. Nuestro agente amigable dará la bienvenida a usted en la casa, ella tiene una gran riqueza de conocimientos sobre la zona circundante. Ella será su primer punto de contacto mientras está de vacaciones. Este servicio es gratuito entre las horas de 8 am y las 20:00.
Hay un espacio de aparcamiento al lado del patio.

De área local
Gran Alacant se encuentra idealmente situado en la Costa Blance al lado y con vistas a la bonita playa de Carabassi y tenga un cinturón verde de beaufiful valor ecológico. Aprox. 5 kilometros de la ciudad muy interesante de Santa Pola y muy cerca al aeropuerto, pero no en una ruta de vuelo.
Nuestra propia propiedad está situada en la parte superior cerca de la cima de una colina empinada en una tranquila calle lateral de la carretera principal que conduce directamente a la playa y cuenta con tiendas y restaurantes cerca de la mano.
Los bares de tapas locales le dará un verdadero sabor de la vida española y de las tiendas locales pueden suplir todas sus necesidades a precios muy bajos. Los restaurantes chinos están bellamente decoradas valor particularmente buena relación calidad precio Otros buenos restaurantes son sólo unos pocos minutos a pie. Los turistas disfrutan de reunirse en la plaza local durante la noche, donde siempre hay un ambiente muy agradable y también un café Internet en caso de que quiera ponerse al día con los correos electrónicos. Varios bancos están a la vuelta de la esquina y hay también una farmacia. También hay varios grandes supermercados a poca distancia del Centro Comercial. Aquí podrá disfrutar de un relajante almuerzo durante el tiempo de la siesta.
Hay un maravilloso mercadillo los jueves.
Un corto paseo por la colina que lleva hasta la reserva natural.
Se pueden alquilar bicicletas y hay una hermosa costa (plana) de carretera que podrá montar en bicicleta a lo largo de Santa Pola.
alquiler de coches son fáciles de arreglar, aunque hay un servicio regular de autobús, que pasa por el final de la carretera. Los autobuses van a Alicante y desde allí se puede coger un autobús a muchos lugares diferentes. También hay un servicio frecuente de autobuses de Santa Pola, bien merece una visita. Como novedad este año es un "tren de carretera", que le llevará hasta la playa. Haga copias de seguridad en el tren que podría continuar hasta el centro comercial local y de vuelta a través de los restaurantes y bares locales.
La isla de Tabarca es una isla libre de tráfico hermosa acceder a un corto trayecto en ferry desde Alicante o Santa Pola. Bien merece una visita y un lugar para relajarse de verdad y disfrutar de una deliciosa cena.
Si caminar cuesta arriba no es suficiente para mantenerse en forma es posible que quiera visitar el nuevo parque por la rotonda. Aquí hay un área de juegos infantiles y una selección de afuera "gimnasio" equipo.


Costa Blanca (Costa Blanca o)
Las playas son famosas en toda Europa y gran parte virgen, que se extiende por millas. Las suaves arenas blancas y aguas cristalinas han sido galardonados con el premio Bandera Azul por la CEE. También hay lagos de sal cerca de Torrevieja (unos 30 minutos en coche de Gran Alacant), que son el hogar de una gran cantidad de vida silvestre como los flamencos rosados. La ciudad de Alicante en sí es muy animado e ideal para todas sus necesidades de compras. 1 hora en coche al norte te lleva a Benidorm. Aquí usted puede pasar un día visitando el parque de animales marinos y exóticos o refrescarse en Aqualandia (el parque de agua durante los meses de verano). O si lo desea, puede pasar su tiempo visitando los numerosos bares y tiendas!

Golf
Hay muchos campos de golf de la Costa Blanca, muchos dentro de un radio de 10 km. La de Villamartín es de unos 45 minutos de Gran Alacant y considerado como uno de los mejores de España.

A non-refundable deposit of £50/50 euros per week is required at the time of booking. The balance is due 6 weeks before the start of the holiday.

There is a supplement of £50.00 for any week which includes Christmas or New Year. The only extra charges are 40 euros for cleaning and 5 euros per person for laundry which is paid locally.
NB.50 euros if keys are lost and need to be replaced.Extra if a locksmith needs to be called in.

Taxis are readily available at the airport and our friendly agent will meet and greet you at the house (free between 8.00 and 20.00).

Guests are advised to take out travel insurance as owners accept NO responsibility for injury or loss of valuables

My husband and I are both English and for many years we dreamt of owning a property in Spain. In 2006 our dream came true and one day we hope to live in Alicante full time.
