Some of the many outdoor activities include: Water-sports centre at local beach. Horse riding near Torredembarra (less than 3 kms.) Karting circuit at 1.000 metres. Costa Daurada Golf course in El Catllar at only 10 kms.; theme park Port Aventura only 30 kms. by road or 20 minutes by direct train from Altafulla. Ancient Roman city of Tarragona at only 12 kms. with many more restaurants, shops and beaches. Excellent shopping facilities in Reus, birthplace of Gaudí, at 20 kms.
This apartment has a small wall garden in the solarium with various shrubs and climbers (jasmine, roses, lilies, clematis, passion flowers and daisies) flowering all summer. Automatic watering system. The outdoor unheated swimming pool has a specially designated area for children and is accessible via a ramp or steps. Please note there is no lifeguard on duty, so children must be supervised at all times. The area around the pool has a lawn, and is adequate for sunbathing.
This property is accessible for wheelchair users (no steps to climb, lift to property)although bathroom is not adapted.. Access to the top floor, hence the terrace/ solarium is not accessible with the wheelchair. Pets are welcome.

Altafulla, at only 3 kms. south of Torredembarra, is a small but lively coastal town. In the village, there are various information points for tourists (the nearest one to the penthouse is 200 metres, next to the local police station and the Post Office. It is here where you can obtain all the information you need to visit this area of the Costa Daurada (Roman ruins of Tarragona, Modernism art in Reus, aquatic parks, theme parks , Delta of the river Ebre, ...) or venture further afield....Locally, you also have the possibility of practising water sports at the beach (sailing, water bike, canoes, fishing, water-skiing, ...). In summer a variety of activities are organised by the town hall for children. Altafulla has its own summer Proms. |

Special notes
All prices include weekly linen, beach towels in summer and one house cleaning per booking. Payments accepted by bank transfer o Paypal. 40% to be paid on booking, remainder three weeks prior to arrival. Security deposit of 150 euros to be paid cash prior to giving keys to the property, on arrival. This will be returned within 10 days of return of keys.
