Description: |
Our first floor southfacing Apartment has a wide shaded balcony equipped with table and 4 chairs. You can take your meals here and observe the golfers or sailing boats on the horizon. In the evening your views will be drawn to the illuminated Moorish castle of Salobrena. The Apartment has 2 bedrooms, a sitting-dining room, fully fitted kitchen with separate utility room, a marble bathroom, marble floors throughout, air conditioning/heating. There is a reserved underground parking space with direct access to elevators. But there is no need to take out the car - a footpath along the golf course leads directly to the sandy unspoilt beaches (100 meters away). At the back of the Apartment building and directly overlooking the green of the golf course are our community swimming pool and children´s paddle pool (with guard).
This is the perfect place for a holiday at any time of the year. You are in the exclusive subtropical coast of Spain which offers a unique climate: Eternal spring except for summer! Nowhere else in Europe can you find such a large variety of sports in summer and in winter:
Golf - 18 holes for the experienced player or golf classes (very reasonable) for the beginner and a free practise area and driving range.

Playa Granada is very exclusive and quiet. You can find 2 very good restaurants and the Golf Club cafeteria next to the beach. The Robinson-Club also offers its facilities to non-residents and has a lovely beach bar. There are no souvenir shops or noisy bars. But along the beach to Motril harbour or to Salobrena you will find many beach restaurants, bars, discos, shops and supermarkets. Motril has a wonderful shopping centre, open air markets, theatre, parks and a bull ring. The white village of Salobrena to the other side of Playa Granada has kept its Moorish character, which is so typical for Andalucia. It needs to be explored on foot. The castle and the museum are worth visiting. At night the castle is magically illuminated. Playa Granada is ideally situated for excursions to the Alhambra in Granada (60 km north), Malaga (100 km to the west), ALMERIA (100 KM to the east), Cordoba or Sevilla (2-3 hours drive) or even Toledo and Madrid (4-5 hours drive away). To all these destinations you will find direct buses from Motril.
