Description: |
Luxury Spanish apartment located just 10 minutes walk from the beautiful beaches and safe waters of the Mar Menor. The apartment itself is spacious with 3 bedrooms accommodating up to 6 people (1 double bed and 4 singles), there are 2 bathrooms, one compact kitchen and a large lounge with plenty of seating as well as a dining area. There is also a roomy balcony with sunloungers and an outdoor dining area. The apartment is situated on the 2nd floor and is part of a complex of apartments that surround an outdoor pool that is open to everyone in the complex and is excellent for using on days when you don’t want to go to the beach. A supermarket, shops and restaurants are all a short 5 minute walk away.
The apartment is furnished to a high standard, modern and fully equipped including air conditioning, CD player, DVD player, SKY television with all major English speaking channels, utility area with washing machine and dryer (although cleaning service is also provided) and there is a safe in the master bedroom.
Location:
• Los Alcazares is a beautiful area of Southern Spain situated next to the Mar Menor. The area is still relatively untouched and you can get a true Spanish experience with Spanish cafes offering tapas lining the beach promenade!
• The Mar Menor is a large saltwater lagoon perfect for water sports such as windsurfing, water skiing and scuba diving which is all on offer as well as many more water based activities. The mineral rich water is also revered for its health giving properties.
• For golf enthusiasts there are several golf courses in the area including the famous La Manga Golf Club.
• Nearby, only 20 minutes drive away, is the delightful historic Roman Port city of Cartagena with great shops, boat trips on offer and the naval and archaeological museums to visit. The city has magnificent architecture and is a joy just to walk around.
The region enjoys an average of 320 days of sunshine each year! Warm sunny winters and hot summers with cooling ocean breezes give the area a good year round climate.
