This brand new townhouse is located on the Polaris World resort of La Torre and is a beautifully furnished 2 bedroom air-conditioned property with 2 separate bathrooms. It has unspoilt views to the mountains and is situated in a quiet location within easy walking distance of the resorts amenities. The property sleeps up to 6 and has a spacious shaded patio area to the rear and private driveway to the front. The 2nd floor has patio doors opening onto a large balcony which provides a great social area with a big dinning table, parasol, 6 chairs, sun loungers and a large barbecue. This is a perfect south facing sun trap and offers huge unspoilt open views across almond fields to the distant mountains and fantastic evening sunsets. The property is fully furnished with TV, DVD and CD/Radio, 2 leather sofa`s including a sofa bed. There is a fully kitted kitchen with oven, 4 ring hob, large fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, 6 piece dinner service, Iron and so on.

Bedrooms

On the ground floor is a double bedroom with twin beds, these can easily be pushed together to create a double bed if preferred. There is also a downstairs 4 piece bathroom adjacent to this bedroom. Both rooms have large wardrobe and drawers and black out external blinds to ensure privacy.

To the 1st floor there is a landing which leads out to an extensive balcony which is a perfect south facing sun trap and offers huge unspoilt open views across almond fields to the distant mountains where the sun sets. The master double room on the 2nd floor also has patio doors opening onto the balcony and next door, a luxury private 4 piece bathroom.

There are 2 brown leather sofa`s, one of which is a double sofa bed allowing up to 6 people to stay at the property.

The Resort

La Torre is the second of seven private gated golf and leisure resorts that Polaris is building in the Murcia region. The Mediterranean style resort is made up of whitewashed apartments and townhouses. The centre piece of the resort is a town centre with a conference centre and a 5 star, 200 room Intercontinental hotel, which lies at the side of a lake. The town has bars, numerous restaurants and shops. There is a large supermarket that stocks all the food, wine and drink that you’ll require for your stay. Dotted throughout the tree lined avenues of the resort are 12 communal swimming pools and tennis courts, and as a guest, you are able to use them all.
Wherever you are in the resort, the golf course is never far away. The 18 hole Jack Nicklaus designed course is a pleasure to play and a test for all handicaps, and there is a free shuttle service to visit the other nearby Nicklaus courses. The resort is a gated community and the 24 hour security means you are in a safe environment in which you can enjoy your stay with peace of mind.

The Golf

Designed by Nicklaus Design the Polaris World concept offers the best golfing opportunity in Europe. The La Torre Golf Resort course offers 18 holes, par 68 and four different sets of tees depending on your ability. Currently there are 3 Polaris courses available to play, the Mar Menor, El Valle and La Torre. The other courses are no more than 15 minutes away. La Torre Golf course has a water and sand theme with 3 large lakes and over 5 hectares of sand which creates a stunning course and resort. The clubhouse has all the features and services that you would expect from a first class facility. Lessons are available for low and high handicapper alike, there is a practice putting green and driving range and changing rooms are available with showers and lockers. Golf buggy hire is available, and there is a pro-shop to stock up on all the latest gear. Ask at the club house for any special deals as they frequently have offers which include dinner or lunch at the lovely buffet restaurant afterwards.

The region
You are ideally situated for access to the unspoiled coastline of the famous Mar Menor and the beautiful ancient city of Murcia. Should it be history, the beach, water sports, shopping, national parks or golf, then you can find it in abundance. The Mar Menor is only 15mins away and as the largest lagoon in Europe it is also the safest place to swim and has over 24 Km’s of sandy beaches. The area is also well known for it extensive sailing and wide range of water sports. From the Mar Menor to Cartagena (an old fishing and Naval town) you’ll find many traditional Spanish restaurants with fabulous seafood restaurants and markets; catering for all appetites. Murcia city is 20 minutes from La Torre and one of Spains traditional towns. Its a haven for shoppers whilst at the same time ideal for those interested in architecture with its beautiful buildings, small alleys and 14th century cathedral. There’s a huge number of other attractions including everything from a water and wildlife park to great shops and local festivals.
