The house overlooks the 13th green of the superb Alicante Golf, designed by Seve Ballesteros. It is situated in a sought-after complex (urbanizacion) with two communal swimming pools, a paddle court and other recreational facilities. It is conveniently located for the local tram to go into Alicante centre or to explore further north up the coast. For golf enthusiasts a round or two on Alicante Golf is a must and several other golf courses such as Bonalba and Allenda Golf are just a short car ride away. The long, sandy beach of Playa de San Juan is about 1.5km from the house. There are local shops, bars and restaurants nearby and the bustling centre of Alicante with shopping malls, the impressive marina, Santa Barbara Castle etc, is only a few minutes away by car, bus or tram. Beautiful towns to the south such as Elche, Orihuela and Murcia are less than an hour away by car. And to the north about half an hour away by car is Benidorm one of the most popular tourist towns in Spain, with four large theme parks, Terra Mitica (theme park with rides and some shows), Mundomar (land and sea animals), Terra Natura (animals and waterpark), Aqualandia (waterpark) providing fun and entertainment for people of all ages.
