LAKE VINUELA
Lake Viñuela is set in the beautiful Axarquia region of Malaga province; towering above the lake is the 2065 meter high Mount Maroma. As well as spectacular scenery the area is rich with birds, animals and wild flowers so it is a paradise for nature lovers and photographers. When you want a change from the peace of the countryside, the lake is less than 20 minutes drive from the coast and a similar distance from two motorways giving day trip accessibility to all the ´must see´ sights of Andalucia. There is an 18 hole Golf course 20 minutes drive away.
CASA IANDA
Casa Ianda is a detached villa in a small development of Andalucian style properties situated just 400 meters - 2 minutes drive - above the lake and with panoramic views over the water.
Within a 5-7 minutes drive we have 3 local villages - Los Romanes, Puente Don Manuel and La Vinuela - with a selection of shops, restaurants and bars.
A car is essential but, unlike many ´campo´ properties, the road up to the villa is short and fully surfaced; safe parking is available on our driveway.
We are a very easy 50 minutes drive from Malaga Airport or 80 minutes from Granada Airport.
GUEST ROOMS
Both of our Guest Rooms are next door to each other in the lower level of the villa, and have private access via a flight of 19 outdoor stairs and the Poolside Terrace - no need to come through the main house - giving you privacy and total freedom to come and go as you please.

A small, but comfortable, room. Double Bed. Wardrobe. Dressing Table. Bedside Cabinets. Book Case with books in several languages. Fridge/Honesty Bar. Coffee Table with Tea + Coffee making facilities. Ceiling fan + table top fan for Summer ventilation. 'En Suite' Shower Room.

SUN ROOM - 2-4 people - 25.5m2
A light and spacious room. Twin Beds - the beds are generally pushed together but can be separate on request. Wardrobe. Dressing Table. Bedside Cabinets. Book Case with books in several languages. Fridge/Honesty Bar. Dining Table with four Chairs. Kettle with Tea and Coffee making facilities. Ceiling Fan and upright Fan. Two single ´Z´ Beds are available for a third or fourth person if required. ´En Suite´ Shower Room.

SWIMMING POOL + TERRACES
Guests have unlimited use of our 8m x 4m pool that has a stunning lake view. We have a large sun terrace immediately outside our guest rooms with tables, chairs, sun-beds and parasols plus a covered terrace up in the main house where Breakfast and Dinner are served in Summer.
INTERNET
Free WiFi access is available in the main house and upstairs terrace - a signal can often be received in our Guest Rooms but this can be haphazard.
If you do not bring a Laptop with you there is a computer up in the main house that Guests can use free of charge for 30 minutes per day.
BREAKFAST
Our price includes either our substantial Buffet Breakfast or a cooked English Breakfast.
OTHER MEALS
A wide range of Snacks, Tapas and Drinks are available all day and Dinner is available at night - including a special Childrens Menu. All menus emailed on request.
