Escape from the hustle and bustle of every day life and visit our unique 'paradise place' in this tranquil and heavenly part of the world in the Andalucian mountains. Only twenty minutes to the beach and ideally located for sightseeing. Within one or two hour's drive from Granada, Seville, Cordoba, Ronda, Malaga etc.

The captivating views from Las Tinajas are absolutely breathtaking whichever direction you look. You will see many of the whitewashed villages, some tucked in valleys, some perched on top of the rocks and some hugging the edge of the sea and after watching the beautiful sunsets you will see them come alive at night with their twinkling lights.

This very diverse and beautiful region is where the Moscatel wine grape grows, which you will see drying on the hillsides to make raisins.
This is real Spain where the local community is still unchanged with grape harvesting, passing goat herds and donkeys ploughing. Eagles are a common sight and 'Nightjars' are very prevalent and can be seen at night stalking their prey.

Inside the house is all on one level and remains in keeping with its rural environment with ceilings made of eucalyptus beams and bamboo cane. The living/dining room is comfortably furnished with rustic style, hand made furniture. The two double beds measure 150 x 190 and the twin beds 90 x 200. The satelite TV is in English and there is a DVD/CD player. Mosquito meshing and shuttered windows for summer and a wood burning stove for cosy evenings in the cooler months. The house faces south giving all day sun with outside lighting and an illuminated pool for midnight bathing under star filled skies! The pool is for the sole use of the guests and measures 7m x 3.5m (2.5m deep end and 1.2m shallow end).

Las Tinajas is professionally cleaned between lets and fresh linen and towels are provided at the end of each week. The pool is cleaned weekly and pool/beach towels are provided.

There is a welcome pack of tea, coffee, sugar, milk and water for your arrival as well as cleaning materials.

Also there is an English library and folders in English and French containing general information on activities and sight-seeing etc. and for those of you who need to stay in touch just bring your laptop and use the free WI-FI connection.

You will have complete privacy at 'Las Tinajas' but please note that there is a small private apartment with it's own entrance below the house. On occasions one of the owners stays in it. Please feel free to enquire which dates it will be occupied if this is of concern. At those times when no-one is on site the owners will only be a phone call away should assistance be needed.
