Large Studio apartment - Costa Del Sol, Spain: 30min from the coast, close to the typical Spanish village of Cómpeta just 5 - 10 mins by car, yet rural enough to enjoy the peace of the countryside, for those who want a good holiday or looking to buy their own place in the sun and looking for somewhere to stay. The road to the apartment is made of concrete and tarmac giving good access all year round.

This apartment was completed in 2005. One Double, one Single Bed and a Sofa Bed which could take one extra child due to it's size. its own En-Suite Shower room.

The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge freezer, microwave, hob, washing machine etc. All linen is provided, English Sky TV with Video, Romantic open fire for those winter nights, Air conditioning / heating, It has use of a private swimming pool, large patio area with sun loungers.

Fantastic views of the mountains and gardens, It’s so quiet here, you can just occasionally hear a distant voice across the valley, at night you can smell the heavy sent of flowers from the garden, the sun shines 320 days of the year.

The apartment is very close to Competa village just a few minutes by car and the National park just behind a walkers paradise, Horse riding is very close by the village, there are guided riding roots long or short from a few hours to overnight excursions, for those more experienced there are many tracks around the village or into the mountains where you could go.

Notes
The swimming pool can be heated between 01 May and 31 October at an extra charge, please ask if you require this.

Walking, Horse riding, swimming, hand gliding and tennis are all available in the village.

Water sports are a 25 minute drive away on the coast, the coastal towns and beaches of Nerja and Torrox together with the water park in Torre Del Mar are all only 30 minutes away.

Whatever time of the year Competa is the perfect place to relax and unwind. Snow sports are 2hrs drive away in the beautiful Sierra Nevada Mountains.

The surrounding countryside is an area renowned for its varied and interesting walks.

TRANSPORT: Cars can be hired in the village or at Malaga airport. There is an air-conditioned bus service three times a day from Cómpeta to Malaga via the coast, stopping at most of the villages and sights on the way.

Competa has 35 bars and restaurants with good food offering excellent tapas and meals at low prices.

Notes
The rental rates above are per week, with a minimum stay of 6 nights which include water, electricity is available through a pay as you go meter.

There is a 25% deposit payable to secure the booking and the balance of the rental fee is due six weeks before arrival.

There is also a £100 refundable damage deposit due six weeks before arrival which will be returned to you within five days of vacation of the villa, provided there is no loss or damage to items during your stay.

My partner and I live here all the time we love it, we work together and during the summer we are out from early morning until we return late at night, this means that our guests have the swimming pool and the place almost to themselves during their stay.

Fantastic holiday

I would like to take this opportunity to unreservedly recommend this property. It was our first time going up into the mountains and away from the tourist hotspots on the coast. The entire holiday was fantastic. The road up and down to Competa took a little getting used to but by the end of the holiday I was driving like a local and enjoying it. The town of Competa is a real hidden gem with some fantastic dining to be had. The studio apartment is exactly as described although the photos may not fully do it justice. The pool and gardens were absolutely gorgeous. It is immaculately clean and has everything you could need for a relaxing holiday and more. The owners were very friendly and helpful when needed but essentially just left us to holiday which was appreciated.
