The apartment is just off the very popular and bustling, Calle Porvera. The location gives very easy access to shops, events and attractions. The apartment consists of a lounge/kitchen dining area. Two separate terraces; one with views of the church of La Victoria; the other a great space to relax or entertain. The large and airy bedroom has a king size bed and plenty of storage for your personal possessions, the room leads out onto a private side terrace. The ensuite bathroom has a walk-in shower. The kitchen is fitted with gas hob, electric oven, fridge freezer and washing machine. Dining and cooking equipment are all available.

Notes
Think "Jerez" and think "festivals". All year round the locals are celebrating. Jerez is the home of flamenco. You can visit the districts of Santiago and San Miguel where many of the famous singers and dancers were born. Drop into one of several flamenco clubs in the area. Why not visit the Centro Andaluz de Flamenco, to find out the history and background. The 11th century Moorish fortress, the Alcazar, has been restored and there are numerous churches and the famous Cathedral de San Salvador. A tour of one or more of the many sherry bodegas is essential. Tours operate during the week taking visitors to famous cellars that include Gonzalez Byass and Sandeman. Jerez is unique in that everywhere is accessible on foot. It is a pleasure to wander along the wide, tree and cafe lined streets.
• The Flamenco Festival for two weeks over February and March. A fantastic opportunity to see flamenco in its natural environment
• Easter (Holy Week) when the city stops to celebrate Holy Week in a very grand style.
• The Motorcycle Grand Prix draws thousands of enthusiasts in for a 4 day weekend of heart stopping speed.
• The Feria de Caballo is held in May and the two weeks of twenty-four hour music and dancing celebrates the relationship between wine, music and horses.
• In September the Wine Harvest Festival takes place. Wine and flamenco together, what could be better.
• A traditional flamenco party at Christmas, “Zambomba”, concludes the calendar before the city starts again in January with the “Three Kings parades”.
The nearest beaches are in the nearby town of El Puerto de Santa María. This is a part of spain with all year sunshine, with spring and autumn temperatures remaining in the 20's and mid 30's in July and August.
Visit the Royal Andalucía School of Equestrian Art with its regular shows and organised tours. The Clock Museum shows off three hundred clocks from all over the world. Explore one of the largest zoos in Spain. In Jerez it will be easy for you to relax into a Spanish lifestyle. Why not use your language skills and book a Spanish language course or flamenco dance classes or just sit in a pavement cafe and people watch? Why wait any longer?

El Atico

We spent a marvellous two weeks in this apartment which was excellently appointed, furnished and located. Everything needed was there in the apartment. The accommodation was spacious with two excellent terraces, one of which was large. The location of the apartment in a quiet block in a quiet street was within easy walking distance of shops, restaurants, bars and the town centre. The railway and bus stations are within 20-30 minutes walk. There is a taxi rank very near at hand. Jerez is very conveniently located to access a variety of other towns by cheap public transport. All in all absolutely no complaints.

El Atico Apartment

From start to finish this was a great experience. Desiree was most helpful despite a few glitches trying to get our deposit to her from Canada. The apartment was everything we wanted and then some. In a great location,very well equipped and maintained. Even doing laundry there was enjoyable with the private rooftop patio. We would highly recommend both the apartment and Jerez and just hope it is available when we decide to visit Spain again in the future. Only drawback (not for us) would be no elevator so not advisable for those with mobility problems. We loved Jerez and the surrounding area, particularly the white villages.
