Villa Diem is an extremely attractive two storey villa with air-conditioning, located in Las Mogarizas and only 4 minutes from the Blue Fag beaches of La Barrosa. Sleeps six and set in 800 sqm grounds with a private 10m x 5m swimming pool.
The owners have taken great pride in ensuring this property provides all the home comforts which you would like to have on holiday but very rarely find. Spanish, British and German TV is available along with other selected international channels. The villa is air-conditioned throughout and all the windows are double glazed and have mosquito blinds for your comfort.
The property is beautifully furnished and immaculately presented. All the bedrooms are on the first floor and have air-conditioning. The master bedroom has a large double bed, fitted wardrobes, drawers in the fitted wardrobe unit and two bedside cabinets. There are French doors leading out to a sun terrace overlooking the pool and gardens. There is a further double bedroom with large double bed, drawers and free standing wardrobe and bedside cabinet. The twin bedroom is next to the bathroom and has a free standing wardrobe with built-in drawers and bedside cabinet.
The family bathroom on the first floor is fitted with a bath with overhead shower, bidet, sink and toilet. There is a further bathroom on the ground floor with shower cubicle, sink and toilet. There is a separate dining room with solid wood table and six chairs. The living room has a TV showing Spanish, British, German and other selected international channels along with a DVD player. There is a large leather sofa for 6 people and a wood burning stove for those cooler winter evenings.
There is a fully equipped kitchen with an electric cooker and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, kettle, coffee maker, toaster, washing machine and large pantry. From the kitchen you walk out to the rear porch which is covered and has a table and chairs for 6 people and a built in BBQ. There is also a front porch with seating. The private walled gardens are fully landscaped with plenty of room to sunbath around the large private 10m x 5m swimming pool with two ladders and Roman style steps. Sun beds are provided. This property is wonderful for both adults and children and there is off-street parking for one car and on street parking outside the property.
The property has a no smoking policy within the villa but feel free to smoke outside if you feel the need. Sorry no pets.
The property benefits from being in a quiet location only 3kms from the blue flag beaches and within walking distance of the Natural Park and salt marshes. This is great place for walking, cycling and bird watching. You can walk to a bakery, bars and restaurants and the villa has great road links to allow you to fully explore the rest of this beautiful region. Chiclana city centre is only a 5 minute drive inland.
A 30% deposit is required at the time of booking with the balance to be paid on arrival date. There is also a 250 Euro returnable breakages/damage deposit to be paid on arrival. This is returned on departure assuming there are no breakages or damage to the villa and grounds. The price includes electricity and water, linen & towels. Changeover day is Saturday, flexible outside of high season. We offer stays from 5 nights. We accept bookings outside from high season for as many days as you wish.
This region remains as it was intended, unspoilt and very Spanish. The historic city of Cadiz, Europes oldest inhabited city is only 30 minutes away by car. Here you can enjoy the sights and sounds of a vibrant historic city bursting with culture. Jerez and Seville are other regional cities attracting people from around the world to enjoy the local produce and sample life in this historic region of Spain.
Once you have sampled city life you can relax on some of Europe´s best beaches. Many are blue flag and have the security of life guards. Inland from the coast you will discover unspoilt countryside stretching for miles and dotted with old white villages. A region, truly for everyone.
Chiclana / La Barossa area
The old town of Chiclana is 6 kms from the beaches of Barrosa and is a great place to visit to buy fresh local produce, including fish, meat and vegetables and then enjoy a coffee in one of its many narrow streets.
The beaches of Barrosa are the envy of the region and extend for 7 kms. White sand, backed by sand dunes and pine trees they extend to rocky points and wrap around to the estuary and marina of Sancti Petri. Here you can eat and drink or enjoy the activities arranged by the watersports centre or go for a boat ride around Hercules Island.
