Playa Blanca is known as the jewel in the crown of Lanzarote, with its beautiful promenade, cafes and excellent sandy beaches. The Rubicon Marina is within easy walking distance and has a good selection of shops, open air restaurants and bars and the shopping centre in Las Coloradas also has a sports bar, coffee/snack shop, restaurants and an excellent supermarket which sells fresh fruit/vegetables and a fresh meat and fish section in addition to groceries. A bus service runs between Las Coloradas into Playa Blanca and beyond to Faro Park and the lighthouse, it takes 15 minutes to get into Playa Blanca and runs between 0630am and about 1030pm.
