Relax in this new penthouse apartment with balcony and large private sun-terrace, affording stunning views over the nearby national park and the sea.
It has 2 bedrooms, the master bedroom has a double bed, fitted wardrobes and includes an en-suite with bath and shower. The second bedroom has twin beds along with fitted wardrobes. A second bathroom is fitted with a shower and toilet
The apartment is fully air-conditioned.
The fully fitted kitchen includes a large fridge freezer, oven and hob, washing machine and dishwasher. A microwave cooker and toaster are also available.
There is a dining area with table and chairs. A large sofa can be converted to a double bed for further use.
A LCD television is available along with a DVD player, music centre and iPod docking station. A selection of DVDs are available for your enjoyment
To the outside there is a large balcony with table, chairs and umbrella. It is furnished with an array of pot plants.
The balcony leads to a flight of stairs to the large upper sun-terrace, which has sunbeds and a pagoda.
The apartment is on the third floor of a small block which has a lift and affords beautiful views from the terrace of the nearby national park and the sea. The town of Peniscola is approximately 7 kilometres away and views of the town and its 12century castle can be seen from the terrace.
There are 2 pools available, one for very young children alongside a play area and a larger pool for general use.
Within walking distance of the apartment are a supermarket, a bakers and 2 bars and restaurants. In the summer months a bus service runs to the town hourly.
The town of Peniscola is dominated by the castle which was the seat of Pope Benedict in the 13th century. It is particularly famous for being the setting for the film El Cid starring Charlton Heston. The town is very popular as a Spanish resort and as such has a large selection of bars and restaurants all with a Spanish feel, 90% of the visitors to the town are Spanish with the remainder being mainly French or other Europeans. The town has two large top-class safe beaches, both with beautiful white sand and gentle slopes into the sea.
If the town Is not enough to keep you busy, nearby attractions include the Sierra de Irta National Park, ideal for walks along the nearby rugged coastline.
For nature lovers, the river Ebro delta plain is 20 mins drive for bird-watching, walking, fishing or water sports.
The city of Valencia is just over an hour’s drive away and Barcelona is 2 hours drive.
For the young-at-heart, there is a large Universal theme-park, Port Aventura, approx 75 mins drive. This is one of the largest in Europe with rides for all ages
