The breathtaking views from our beautiful home high in the mountains overlooking Lake Vinuela have to be seen to be believed, especially the spectacularly colourful mountain sunsets, when viewed from our terrace with an evening drink in your hand. Our home with its Mediterranean garden and four acre vineyard right next door, is comprehensively equipped with all of the things you would expect, and is fully air-conditioned. We are a 10 minute drive from the ‘White Village; of Los Romanes where a supermarket, several restaurants and bars plus a weekly market will be found. The beaches of the Mediterranean are just a short drive away, but are able to be seen from the roof terrace.

We have a large garden, a spacious terrace with numerous seating and sunbathing areas, an outside kitchen and BBQ area with fridge, sink and a covered dining terrace with a ceiling fan. This is the perfect setting to enjoy the stunning views across Lake Viñuela to the mountains, whose changing colours throughout the day have to be experienced; there is also a large covered terrace on the front of the villa. The pool being larger than most has the benefit of Roman steps down leading down in to the shallow end.

We are sure that you will find our villa a home from home. It is fully air-conditioned and heated should you decide on that sunny winter break, by a large, contemporary, and very efficient wood burner allowing for year round holidays. A modern fully fitted kitchen, a lounge/diner with a double sofa bed, three bedrooms, two with king-size double beds and all with fitted wardrobes, three bathrooms, two being en-suite, two of the bedrooms are downstairs.


Lake Viñuela is a peaceful holiday destination, less than an hour from Malaga Airport and 20 minutes from the beaches of Torre Del Mar. It has a choice of activities from country walks to Land Rover Safari’s, wildlife parks to water parks and from fishing to horse riding and sailing. Our area is also extremely popular for walkers, cyclists, and our villa particularly to bird watchers and painters. Where better to sample this part of Spain than from the comfort of our lovely villa? There again, you can have a relaxing game of golf, we have several sets of right-hand clubs available for hire. We also cater for 4 night bed and breakfast golf breaks, with tee-times, transfers to and from the two local courses included.

Airport transfers can be arranged from Malaga.

Notes
Hallway and Kitchen: Entering the front door there are stairs to the upper bedroom and en-suite, with a further door leading in to the fully tiled, modern and spacious well equipped kitchen, with plenty of work surfaces, fridge freezer, integrated dishwasher, an electric oven, microwave and a ceramic hob.
Lounge:
The well furnished living/dining room has air-conditioning and insect screens, an ultra-modern and very efficient wood burner, a dining table to seat six and two large sofas, one of them being a double sofa-bed. We have Sky TV, a DVD player, a music system and a selection of books for your enjoyment whilst staying in the villa. From here, patio door leads out to the spectacular glass curtained terrace that affords stunning views of the lake and surrounding mountains. This terrace enables you to be enclosed and cosy on chilly winter evening benefiting from the stunning sunsets, and opens in the summer making a covered terrace, shielding you from the heat of the day.

Bedrooms:
The upper level master bedroom suite has a king-size bed, fitted wardrobes, air-conditioning, a chest of drawers, bedside tables and lamps. Doors from here lead out on to the large upper terrace with tremendous views over the lake and the mountains beyond. The en-suite has a bath with shower over, WC and wash hand basin.
The downstairs double bedroom has a king-sized bed, air-conditioning, built in wardrobes, bedside tables and lights and the window has an insect screen. Again, the en-suite has a bath with shower over, WC and wash hand basin.
There is also a twin bedroom downstairs with air-conditioning, fitted wardrobes and dressing table, adjacent to the family bathroom.

Outside:
There is a large 11m x 4m swimming pool, a Mediterranean style garden with flowering shrubs and fruit trees, ample car parking, a covered outdoor dining terrace with a ceiling fan, fridge freezer and sink, sunbathing terraces with loungers and parasols

Other: There are a selection of books, toys and games for guests use. Due to our location on the mountain crest, a car is essential.

Notes
Prices are in £s per week but can be paid in €uros at that days exchange rate. A Rental Agreement will be emailed to you, we will hold the dates for ten days to allow your deposit to reach our account. After ten days we will re-advertise the property. Bookings will be confirmed upon payment of a 25% non-refundable deposit with the remainder to be paid in full 6 weeks before holiday start date. Welcome packs will be provided with each arrival, and a ‘full shop’ can be pre-ordered by email, at cost, plus a €25 surcharge. We will require a £130 refundable security deposit, returned to you subject to a final check. We offer a 10% discount for bookings on the second of two weeks or more outside of the summer season.
The villa is thoroughly cleaned prior to occupation and again in accordance with length of stay. Additional cleaning will be provided as required subject to charge.
Whilst we have no problem with late arrivals, guests scheduled to arrive and depart the villa between 00.00 and 07.00, will be required to pay a €30 euro surcharge.

We chose this area of Spain to live for the stunning scenery, for being close to the coast without all of the hassle. A central location for the major cities of Andalucia, Gibraltar in a couple of hours and a major international airport virtually on our doorstep.
