San Juan has many small beautiful beaches, the nearest of which is a 10 minute walk from the house. In addition, there are several beaches and secluded coves within a short drive from San Juan.

Of course there are many people around if you want to find them, mix with the locals as they take their evening walks and enjoy tapas and relax in the bars.

San Juan de Los Terreros has lots of eating places and bars, spend the days and evenings as you choose.

There are supermarkets locally offering very reasonably priced bread / wine and food supplies for alfresco dining. You do not have to go very far from home for anything, unless you want to....

For those wanting a more energetic stay there is the golf course and just under 10 minutes’ drive away, an oasis of shopping malls, cinemas and other beaches.

Travelling

There are two airports within one hours drive of San Juan which are Almeria and Murcia.
Both airports are small & friendly with a small restaurant and shop. Car hire companies are within a short walk from the arrival lounge.

We recommend you hire a car for use during your holiday in San Juan. This will enable you to travel from & return to airport. In addition you will be able to visit several places of interest, sightseeing, markets etc. We have used the following car hire companies:-

Booking Conditions

We require a deposit of £100 pounds, plus a security key deposit of £50 pounds which will be refunded after inspection of the property and all keys have been returned.

The remaining balance should be paid in full 6 WEEKS PRIOR TO TRAVEL. Changeover day is flexible. We suggest the deposit is paid using PayPal.
