Casa de Mercedes is in an ideal location for anyone looking for privacy, wishing to escape from the main tourist areas and enjoy the real Mallorca; also perfect as a romantic hideaway. The house is located near the hamlet of Fangar in the peaceful Campanet Valley; but the lovely town of Pollensa and the beaches of the bays of Pollensa and Alcudia are only a 20 minute drive away. Nearby Campanet village has two small supermarkets,several bakeries, a pharmacy,and 4 banks. There are cafes and bars around the lovely town square where locals and visitors gather for a coffee or a beer and a snack and to watch village life throughout the day and in the evenings. There is a market here every Tuesday.

Casa de Mercedes has approximately 4 acres of partially terraced gardens from where there are stunning views across the Tramuntana mountains. The beautiful pool is surrounded by wide terraces and lawns, again with mountain views.

The house began life as a small cottage with two rooms (one for the farmer and one for his animals) but has been greatly extended and reformed (by the present owners Mercedes and Pedro) so it is now a 5 bedroom house. All bedrooms are double or twin-bedded rooms and all have dual air-conditioning for either cool or warm air. There is the same dual air-con in all the living areas and 2 wood-burning stoves for the cooler days and evenings.

There is a large south facing terrace alongside the main living room, and another terrace adjacent to the breakfast room and kitchen ... and with two separate BBQ areas there is ample space to enjoy an alfresco lifestyle.

Casa de Mercedes can be rented with 2, 3 or 4 bedrooms at different prices as shown in the pricing section. Mercedes has chosen to do this so that smaller groups can enjoy the house without having to pay for rooms they do not need. All clients have sole and exclusive use of the house, gardens and pool apart from any unused bedrooms which will be locked. Larger groups may be able to book for 5 bedrooms, through consultation with Mercedes about availability and price.

Notes
The quoted prices in the table above are in Euros per week for the 2 bedroom option; holidays spanning the end of months are priced on equivalent daily rates.

For 4 bedrooms, prices are (all in Euros per week): April 1155, May and October 1365, June 1750, July and August 2415, September 1750.

For 3 or 5 bedroom prices, contact the owner.

Please note that the minimum payment is for 7 nights.

Bookings are secured by payment of a non-returnable 25% deposit paid by a sterling cheque (the value evaluated using the current bank exchange rate) or in Euros using bank transfer; the balance is paid in Euros directly to Mercedes on arrival at the beginning of the holiday.

The house is owned by Mercedes and her husband Pedro, and they clean the house, the pool and maintain the gardens. Mercedes prepares the house immaculately for every new group of guests and will also clean mid week at the time of bringing new linen.
