Holiday country house for rent in Pollensa

Casa de Mercedes is in an ideal location for anyone looking for privacy, wishing to escape from the main tourist areas and enjoy the real Mallorca; also perfect as a romantic hideaway. The house is located near the hamlet of Fangar in the peaceful Campanet Valley.

There are approximately 4 acres of partially terraced gardens from where there are stunning views across the Tramuntana mountains. The pretty pool is surrounded by wide terraces and lawns, again with mountain views.

The house began life as a small cottage with two rooms (one for the farmer and one for his animals) but has been greatly extended and reformed (by the present owners Mercedes and Pedro) so it is now a 5 bedroom house with a separate pool studio. All bedrooms are double or twin-bedded rooms.

Casa de Mercedes is, however, rented with only 2 or 3 bedrooms to reduce wear and tear and to give time for Mercedes to thoroughly clean the house on changeover days. Nevertheless clients have sole use of the house, gardens and pool. Pedro makes discrete visits to clean the pool and Mercedes visits (at agreed times) with changes of towels and bedding. The prices quoted in section 23 below are for the 2 bedroom option but the three bedroom prices are shown in section 28. Please email or phone if you wish to discuss these.

There is a large south facing terrace alongside the main living room, and another terrace adjacent to the breakfast room and kitchen ... and with two separate BBQ areas there is ample space to enjoy an alfresco lifestyle.

Notes
The quoted prices are in Euros per week for the 2 bedroom option; holidays spanning the end of months are priced on equivalent daily rates. If clients wish to rent 3 bedrooms, the per-week prices(all in euros)are 910 for April, 980 for May and October, 1260 for June and September, 1750 for July and August.

Bookings are secured by payment of a 25% deposit paid by a sterling cheque (the value evaluated using the current bank exchange rate) or in Euros using bank transfer; the balance is paid in Euros directly to Mercedes on arrival at the beginning of the holiday.

The house is owned by Mercedes and her husband Pedro, and they clean the house, the pool and maintain the gardens. Mercedes prepares the house immaculately for every new group of guests and will also clean mid week at the time of bringing new linen.
