Es Turo is a charming villa with wonderful, panoramic views of the Tramuntana mountains, and within an easy drive of the sandy beaches of Alcudia, Pollenca and Formentor, as well as the capital, Palma. In a beautifully quiet position, it is ideally located to explore the island.

Situated just a few minutes walk from the small village of Biniamar, the villa is also a quick drive to the bustling market town of Inca, in open, scenic countryside with fields adjacent. It is set within fully enclosed grounds, raised on a hillside with a charming one acre orchard, featuring a variety of olive trees, lemon trees, orange trees, fig trees, almond trees and pear trees, amongst others. Guests are welcome to pick their own produce. There is a charming working stone well in the orchard. With year round sunshine, Es Turo makes an excellent base at any time of year. There are hiking trails into the mountains very close to the villa.

The villa is very beautifully furnished in a minimal, Mallorcan style and equipped with modern facilities. It is stylishly decorated and offers a very high standard of comfortable accommodation, all on ground floor level, perfect for a family of all ages or a small group of adults.

The attractive living area and the well equipped, modern kitchen are adjoining, creating a big family room with an historic open fire place, ideal for winter evenings.

Sleeps 6 - 8 and features two full bathrooms. The main house has two double bedrooms including a master bedroom with a queen size bed, plus a second bedroom with two single/twin beds. The annexe has a separate entrance and has two single/twin beds, with its own separate bathroom. The sofa in the living room pulls out into a sofabed. The villa is equipped with a stereo, DVD player, television with SATELLITE (international channels), fridge/ freezer, stove, microwave oven, toaster, juicer, electric kettle and washing machine.

The pool is surrounded by a large terrace with four teak sun lounges and a family size teak table/chairs with an umbrella for al fresco dining. There is a hammock from which to enjoy the stunning views.

Always excellent

This was our third visit to "Es Turo"and once again the house and whole experience lived up to our expectations. The house is simply decorated but it has everything you would need for a self catering holiday. The kitchen in particular has everything you could possibly need if you are catering for yourselves. The Family look after your every need and the extras such as pool towels etc are particularly useful. Plenty of towels and linen also supplied but you will have to be prepared to do your own laundry or pay an additional cleaning charge during your stay. Light airy bedrooms and wonderful views of the mountains with the only sound to distrub being a cockerel or perhaps a donkey. Very peaceful and quiet.

es Turo

We were five guys aged 60/61 using Es turo for a base for our cycling week in the Mountains.We have known each other for circa 40 yrs and have done this at least a dozen times before. The building is an old finca that was modernised about 5 years ago. The setting in its own plot was superb. very peaceful. The outside terrace was equally great for breakfast and dinner.The plunge pool is small but accurately described.Overall we would recommend this property to cyclists, walkers, hikers or someone wanting sheer peace & quiet. Our only negative was the lack of a dishwasher.

Peaceful Stay in Biniamar

We had the pleasure of staying at the villa in Biniamar during April 2011. The weather was perfect during our entire stay and although the water in the pool had not yet properly warmed up, we enjoyed our breakfasts and dinners out on the terrace every day. The entire stay lived up to our expectations. The villa was well equipped and located in a quiet, yet central location. During the day we mostly made trips to local areas of interest and in the evening eat at "home". My compliments to Family Garcia Espejo who also made our stay memorable with their professional and discrete service. I would recommend the villa for a stay of families up to 6 persons. The only potential negative point would be the size of the lounge to relax inside in if the weather were not good.
