The villa can be rented as 1 large house or as 2 self-contained apartments.
The Main House contains a modern open plan living/dining room, large fully fitted kitchen (with granite workshop, ceramic hob, oven, dishwasher and washing machine) and 2 double bedrooms, all of which have access to a grand terrace with an outstanding 180 degree view of the Mediterranean. (The 3rd bedroom and ensuite are private, for the sole use of the owners.) A second sitting room has patio doors opening onto the pool terrace. There is also 1 bathroom and 1 shower room. The main house provides lockable internal access into the Apartment below.
The Apartment underneath contains an open-plan living/dining area and fully-fitted kitchen with granite worktop, ceramic, hob, oven and washing machine. A spacious terrace beside the Apartment front door is used for dining al fresco. There is a double master bedroom with fitted wardrobe and sofa, an internal twin/double bedroom and a spacious shower room. The master bedroom has french doors to the side of the house with side access to the pool terrace.
There is space for more people in this villa, and if necessary, two extra fold away beds can be arranged. Cots and high chairs for children can be provided on request.
The house is surrounded by newly landscaped gardens with a colourful profusion of Mediterranean flowers and shrubs, as well as a variety of fruit trees, including orange, lemon, tangerine, peach, pear, pomegranate, cherry, grapes, olive and avocado. Guests are welcome to help themselves to the fruit in season. The lower garden has been left natural, to encourage wild flowers, insects and birds.
Cumbre Del Sol is a mountain that is ideally positioned between Moraira , Benitachell and Javea towns. It is a peaceful, exclusive residential area well away from all the noise and traffic. Cumbre’s own local pebble beach is just two minutes drive. During the high season, you can enjoy dinner al fresco sitting beside the waves, as the beach has two restaurant/bars serving paella, fish, meat, tapas and typical Spanish dishes. The nearest sandy beach is in Moraira, only 3 kms away. Cumbre is a National Park, and the unspoilt scenery is a perfect place to unwind. There are a number of beautiful coastal walks with pinewoods, wild flowers, rosemary and thyme growing in abundance, whilst Cumbre’s Moraig beach has dramatic high peaks towering over it. Cumbre’s shops and restaurants are a few minutes drive away, and there are plenty of supermarkets, chemists, banks, newsagents and various international restaurants in nearby Moraira, Benitachell and Javea.
This part of Spain was recognized by the World Health Organization as one of the healthiest places in the world to live. There are many local fiestas which take place during the year and visitors are made most welcome. On fiesta days, the towns are transformed to one big street party, not forgetting running bulls to the sea. There are weekly local markets where you can buy a range of items from vegetables to small furniture. The buzzing atmosphere needs to be experienced.
If you enjoy playing golf, there are 13 excellent clubs on the Costa Blanca with 4 of them around the Cumbre del Sol area. There is also an excellent tennis club at the foot of Cumbre, with open house sessions for visitors every Monday and Friday.
