Casa Rustica is a holiday villa available for rent, a few minutes drive from the lovely and quaint mountain pueblo of Canillas de Aceituno in Southern Spain. An amazing tranquil mountain setting. It has an abundance of wild life, golden eagles, eagle owls, Griffin Vultures, bee eaters and ibex to name but a few. The mountain scenery is spectacular with views over Lake Vinuela and down to the Mediterranean Sea, even Africa can be seen on a clear day.
It is only two mile before the virtually untouched historic whitewashed village of Canillas de Aceituno which takes its origons from the Moor occupation over 1000 years ago. The friendly village people still enjoy the simple life. Crime hardly exists, a real timewarp. You can visit the neighbouring villages of Cameres, Alcaucin, Periana, all have different things to offer, Particularly Cameres which is perched on top of a mountain peak and looks as if it could topple off. The villa looks straight across at it on another mountain top.
Apart from totally " chilling out " There are mountain walks, bird watching, and the clear night skies are superb for star gazing. The " milky way " is directly above and clear to see most nights.
The coast at Torre del Mar is only 13 mile away. Nerja is 22 mile and the airport is only 35 miles.
Places to visit within one and a half hours drive are. The Alhambra Palace in Granada, El Torcal national Park near Antequera, El chorro Gorge and lakes. For the more energetic there are the Sierra Nevada ski slopes, sking in the morning and sunbathing on the beach in the afternoon is a reality. What a life!

25% non refundable deposit to be paid on booking. The balance and 100 euro refundable security deposit paid in Stirling or euros For over 4 people 150 Euro. This Deposit will be refunded within 3 days of departure. Air con is fitted in all bedrooms and lounge. (a must in summer)

My wife and myself have lived locally for 8 years, We are presently living in England whilst we sell or UK home. We will return to our other home in Canillas hopefully very soon. We have a good knowledge of the area and can advise on activities and eating out etc.
