Sedella is located in the Axarquia region of the Province of Málaga with the nearest shopping town, Vélez-Málaga, 20 km away (or half an hour by car).
This does not mean that you cannot by most of the essentials in the local shops in Sedella.
Sedella is a rural village where the traditional life, as one would have expected it 50 years ago, still exists. Mules, goats ans sheep are frequently seen.
The village opened only a couple of years ago a large municipal swimming pool, much enjoyed by visitors as by the locals.
Many visitors over the years have returned to retire here because of the attractive environment.
Our village house was originally build in 1995, but this year we have extended the house with another floor containing a bedroom with direct access to a roof terrace. A former bedroom on 1. floor has been converted into a modern bathroom and storageroom. 1. floor still retains one bedroom with door to a balcony. The main entrance on the ground floor gives in the traditional local way access directly to the lounge and kitchen.
We would love to welcome you to Sedella. We the owners live only 2 miles out of the village in the countryside.

picturesque white village in mountains, quiet

The apartment is very sweet, on 3 levels and quite homely - not sterile like some rentals; very clean and comfortable. Spectacular views from the top balcony and master bedroom fantastic. Located in centre of tiny mountain village, narrow, cobbled streets, very picturesque. Village is very quiet, only two small local shops and a couple of cafes/restaurants. Good area for walking on mountain tracks or road-biking. But not much for a family or children to do, so may not recommend for this. Maybe more suitable for older couple or without kids. We visited the Roman Bridge , a nice 1km walk from apartment, most days, so kids could play in the river and pools. Owners nice and helpful.
