Mojacar is a cosy village of approx 5000, situated between 100-200m of altitude on the lower slopes of the Sierra Cabrera. The 2 story house, of 75 square meters, is hundreds of years old but was recently totally renovated and has, apart from the usual kitchen facilities, a reverse osmosis drinking water filtration system. also very practical is the heat-pump waterstorage system with underfloorheating (for the winter). It's facing east-south-east, towards the sea, which it overlooks: from Mojacar Playa over the fishing port of Garrucha all the way to Cartagena some 80km away. From the patio to the west, also the mountains and part of the village can be seen - truly a breathtaking view! Fantastic sunrises included!

The nearest airports are Almeria (80km), Murcia (150km) and Alicante (220km). The local bus can take you there, also back-and-forth to the beach in a 45minutes rhythm if you wish to use it. otherwise its a 2km walk or a short ride with your car, which you can park on the public streets 50m from the house; our street, like many in the old part, is too narrow for cars, hence the low noise which you will no doubt appreciate.

A variety of grocery-, hardware- and souvenirshops can be found just 3 min walking distance either way, as well as the public fountain. a bigger supermarket (Mercadonna) is about 1.5km far away. The bars in the village are numerous, many more at the beach, as well as a few popular chiringuitos.

In the house you have ADSL broadband connection, TV and a DVD-player
