Els Horts del Palomar is located in the wonderful picturesque village of Palomar a few minuets from the historic town of Albaida. This beautiful 3 storey town house has recently been carefully restored to offer guests the charm and charisma of a traditional period house. Positioned on the old main village street you are in a quiet haven away from the hussle and bustle of the Costas and yet only 25 minutes from Gandia and the beautiful Blue Flags. It is not a hotel but a lovely large family home with many antiques and historic personal belongings of the owner.

The property now provides large open plan living and dining space, 9 spacious bedrooms, 6 with en-suite bathrooms plus an additional 2 separate bathrooms. The bedrooms offer 8 single beds, 5 double beds plus up to 4 additional beds if required by larger groups. The standard accommodation is 18 and with the extra beds can accommodate groups of 22.

Facilities include a wonderful traditional fireplace, private walled garden with fish pond, patio with BBQ and outside dinning terrace. Sitting room is provided with TV/DVD, the dining area is sufficient for large groups and you have a lovely corner reading area plus the benefit of 2 well equipped kitchens. The furnishings are in keeping with the splendor of the property and the house is provided with air-conditioning and heating.

With over 500 sq meters of living space Els Horts del Palomar can easily accommodate more than one family, a club or large group all under one roof. Whether you come with 6 or with 22 persons, this large traditional town house will suit you perfectly. Within the village you will find everything you need, shops, a Pharmacy, very good restaurants, bars, and during the summer months the fantastic municipal piscina (swimming pool) just 150 meters away, complete recreation area which includes football and basket ball courts along with its own restaurant and bar plus a wonderful play area for children.

This area is perfect for walking or riding or exploring in your car. Alcoi and Onteniente are just 15 km away. Also close is Bocairente and its prehistoric caves and Villena whose Castle houses some of Spain’s most valuable treasures.

You also have Valencia 45 minutes to the north and Alicante 1 hour to the south. Benidorm with all its attractions including the Terramitica theme park owned by Universal Studios is just 45 minutes away. Also from nearby Denia are the ferries to Ibiza (2 hours) if you fancy some serious clubbing.

Notes
Rental rates are based on 8 to 10 people at the property, (4 bedrooms +), up to a maximum of 22 people can be accomadated. Discounts for periods of 5 nights or more.
A non-refundable deposit of 25% required at the time of making the booking. Balance payable 4 weeks before arrival. A Security deposit of €250 required to cover breakages, damage or excessive cleaning. This is returnable within 2 weeks of departure. For Christmas, Fistas, Easter and New Year and Bank Holiday periods contact the owner for rates.
If required we can arrange to do some food shopping for you prior to your arrival. This service costs 15 euros plus the value of your shopping bill.
Travel Insurance: Please ensure that you take out comprehensive travel insurance.
