Luxury 2-bed, 2-bath apartment on Roda Golf and Beach Resort

The 5* Roda Golf and Beach Resort - located on the Costa Cálida - is superbly situated for both golfing breaks & family holidays. The apartment is within easy walking distance of the golf course and new club house and within a few minutes drive of Los Alcazares and the Mar Menor beaches, which are gently shelving and really safe for kids.

As well as all the fantastic on-site golf and swimming facilities there is a private beach club on the Mar Menor (open June - September) where you can be active and swim in the pool or the sea, go sailing or just relax and make use of the luxury spa facilities.

The stylishly furnished apartment has full air conditioning, full central heating and electric security grills. In the lounge, there is a 32" flat screen TV with satellite system plus a DVD player and large selection of DVDs for your use. There is also a hi-fi with over 50 CDs to listen to.

There is real luxury in this apartment. Granite worktops, marble floors and marble tiled bathrooms make it special.

The lounge leads onto a fantastic HUGE, south facing terrace, where you can relax in the sun or shade all day. A large teak table means you can dine al fresco and it is the ideal place at the end of the day to put your feet up, maybe read a good book, have a glass of wine (or two) and generally relax as the sun goes down

Sleeps 4 comfortably: the master bedroom has a large king-size bed, ensuite bathroom and access to the private balcony overlooking the pool: bedroom 2 has twins beds with easy access to the separate shower room.
The 5th person is accomodated on a Z-bed (for a small supplement). Please note that this is only suitable for child or small adult.

The apartment has secure underground garage with easy wheelchair access straight to the apartment in the lift.

ITS OUR HOLIDAY HOME TOO so weve added lots of things that you wouldnt normally expect to find in a holiday let. We have even put in safety equipment including First Aid kit, Fire Extinguisher, Fire Blanket, Smoke detector, Carbon Monoxide Detector.

COSTA CALIDA AND THE MAR MENOR

Roda is not just for the golfer .....
Just 1.5 km from the unique natural setting of warm, shallow waters of The Mar Menor, the largest natural seawater lagoon in Europe.

The setting of the Costa Calida and Mar Menor is truly incredible, with more than 253 Km of Mediterranean beach, around 320 days of sunshine per year enjoying annual average temperatures of around 21ºc and ideal for a relaxing holiday year round.

Its an enclosed lagoon with no dangerous currents making the water safe for children of any age. The beaches are great - clean and sandy and many have the prestigious "Blue Flag" award with lifeguards in the Summer.
There are so many miles of beach that you can always find a quiet spot, even in August.

It is also one of the most important spots in the world for sports lovers, water sports abound including swimming, sailing, scuba diving and water skiing, as well as activities such as tennis, trekking or golf.

LOS ALCAZARES
The nearest town of Los Alcázares, set on the Mar Menor, is 1.5 km away with a range of shops, bars & restaurants. With its promenade streching for 8km, the local blue-flag beaches are fantastic having won the Q awards for excellence & safety. The waters of the Mar Menor are also renouned for their healing properties - and the temperature of the water can be amazing. The beaches are dotted with "chiringuitos" - bars selling a variety of Tapas dishes, refreshments & local beer!

LOS NAREJOS
The nearest beach at Los Narejos is just 1.5 km from the resort. Gently shelving and really safe for kids. Apart from the height of Summer, the beach is usually quiet and is my personal favourite. The beach bars serve reasonably priced tapas, snacks and burgers. Start from here to walk the promenade all the way to the Yacht Club at the other end of Los Alcazares.

SANTIAGO DE LA RIBERA
The fishing village of Santiago de la Ribera is just 10 minutes drive away. It grew as a prime holiday destination for wealthy Murcians who built their houses along the coast. Santiago has a lovely promenade flanked by attractive palm trees. Today Santiago is still popular with the Spanish for their vacations but also attracts tourists from all over Europe and although it has a modern air, it has still maintained its ‘fishing village’ atmosphere. It has a good selection of shops, bars and restaurants.

Santiago de la Ribera boasts a popular water-sports centre and sailing club so with its superb safe beaches, sailing, water skiing, boat hire, wind surfing, fishing, cycling, a sports centre, and scuba diving ..... Its a great place to visit .....

LO PAGAN
Lo Pagan, near San Pedro del Pinatar, is a 20 minute drive and a visit is a must to take in the famous mud baths which has been renowned from early times for its healing powers. Get dirty ... by applying the mud all over the body and then dry out in the sun before washing off in the salt waters. The kids will love it!

RODA GOLF COURSE

The course is an excellent 18-hole, par 72 golf course designed by Dave Thomas, who is one of the most prestigious European golf designers. Probably best known for the Brabazon course at The Belfry, near Birmingham, where the Ryder Cup has been held on many occasions.

The landscape has been cleverly shaped into an interesting and undulating golf terrain, that provides an interesting and challenging test. It has 3 lakes, with the 7th green on an island in the middle of one of them.

Golfers will find Roda Golf & Beach Resort the perfect spot to put their skills into practice. With all the convenience of being able to enjoy this magnificent sport any time you wish, just a few steps from the apartment.

Note: To play at Roda Golf & Beach Resort you must hold a valid handicap certificate.

San Javier Airport is only a short, 10 minute taxi drive so a car isnt essential BUT ... it is advised.
Los Alcazares centre is a 15 minute walk

The per night rate above is for stays of 5/6 nights.
Stays of less than 5 nights are subject to supplement.

EXTRAS: (payable on arrival)
€50 Departure cleaning charge.
€30 Late arrival - scheduled arrivals after 21:00.
€30 5th person in the apartment.

RESERVATION DEPOSIT:
A non-refundable deposit of £100 per week is required to secure the apartment for your chosen dates.
The balance is due 8 weeks before travel. If travel is within 10 weeks of booking the full amount must be paid.

SECURITY BOND:
£150 security bond required on booking. Refunded within 15 days of your departure (subject to inspection) once the keys have been safely returned to us, and assuming no damage has been caused to the apartment.

PAYMENT:
Our primary method of payment is by Bank Transfer. However, for convenience, payment can be made by Credit/Debit card in Sterling or Euro using PayPal (subject to fee).

ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE:
The property is available from 16:00 hours on arrival and should be vacated by 11:00 hours on the day of departure (local time) - although we will try to accommodate earlier arrivals and depratures where possible.
