There is another bathroom, fully equipped kitchen (renewed 2009), washing machine, sitting room, balcony, sun roof terrace , private swimming pool and garden. We provide linen, towels and kitchen utensils. Ceiling mounted fans in lounge and all bedrooms. 32 in flat screen TV with UK freeview in the lounge.

The kidney shaped pool has an outdoor shower and BBQ facilities.

The villa is located in Bolnuevo which is on the edge of Puerto de Mazarron, Murcia. The nearest airports are Alicante (1.5 hour drive) , Murcia San Javier (45min drive) and Almeira (2 hours away).

There are lots of lovely beaches in the nearby area (5-10 min) drive. If you google Costa Calida you can get information about the coast line. It stretches about 150 miles and is bathed in sunshine for 300 days of the year. The sea remains warm most of the year.Much of the information will centre around the famous La Manga resorts and Mar Menor which are quite built up north of Cartagena. The area south of Cartagena around Mazarron is less developed. with plenty of opportunity for exploring the rugged countryside. There is a beautiful national park about a 45 minute drive away called Sierra Espuna which is great for walks and very empty. The local large towns also within easy drives are Cartagena (historic naval town), Murcia and Lorca.

Mazarron itself is in 2 parts- the town Mazarron and the port Puerto de Mazarron. These are a 10 minute drive apart. The town does not have much in it other that a few shops, bars and restaurants and is also the site for visiting entertainment such as circuses.. The port on the other hand has 2 small marinas and sailing boats can be hired. It’s also possible to Scuba dive and there it is meant to be one of the best areas for Scuba diving close by. Just google ‘diving in mazarron’. There are indoor markets at both Mazarron and the Puerto, and both have an open air market on different days (Sunday in the port and Saturday in the town)

Bolnuevo is a small town with some bars/ restaurants and accommodation – there is also a club with tennis courts. It has a very long beach and therefore never very crowded. Further down the coast from Bolnuevo The road rapidly becomes a dirt tract but some very nice walks (and couple of nudist beaches)!
