Mirador de Carvajalis the ideal family base being only 2 minutes from the sandy beach of Carvajal which has its own beach bar and restaurant. The apartment looks out over the Mediterranean and there are two large swimming pools so you can relax in the sun while the kids have a good splashabout. The view over the Mediterranean is simply breathtaking and on some days you can see the Atlas mountains in Morocco.
If you have hired a car there is a private parking bay and entry is by remote controlled gates so the emphasis is on privacy and convenience.
The accommodation comprises the air-conditioned lounge with dining area with round dining table and four comfortable chairs. Sliding patio doors lead on to the terrace where you can enjoy a relaxed lunch in the shade. The master bedroom is tastefully furnished and is also air conditioned. The second bedroom has twin beds and built-in wardrobe. Both bedrooms feature remote-controlled air conditioning for your comfort. The galley kitchen is well equipped and this has an automatic washing machine. The bathroom is tastefully tiled and has feature downlighting. The TV system is a cable service with all UK channels plus many continental ones; there is also a DVD player.
At the entrance to the urbanisation is the shopping centre which has a Carrefour supermarket, a bank, café/ bars, dry cleaners, hairdresser, pizzeria and superb Indian restaurant.
The old white Andalusian village of Benalmadena Pueblo is only a couple of kilometres away and, if you don’t want to drive there is a regular bus services which runs between the mountain village of Mijas and bustling Torremolinos. The village has narrow streets lined with flowers and you can take a truly relaxing stroll and maybe take lunch in the Plaza de España.
Fuengirola is also close and this has superb nightlife for all tastes. The chiringuito bars on the beach prepare fresh sardines slowly cooked over an olive wood fire and served simply with fresh lemon, olive oil and crusty bread – the true Mediterranean diet.
Malaga is a beautiful city with its famous castle, cathedral, World-famous Picasso museum and of course shops, bars and restaurants.
In short, the world of Andalucia is at your feet and the Mirador de Carvajal apartment is an excellent base from which to explore and enjoy it.
