Close to the Valle Tropical with its orchards of avocado, lemon, custard apple and orange trees, the house is situated near the white village of Jete and Itrabo.
Set in extensive grounds of almond, avocado, olive, grapevine trees, etc.. This spacious, charming, Moorish and Andalucian style house is on two different terraces. Each part has its own kitchen, bathroom, living room and bedrooms.
This house is ideal for sharing as each part provided privacy if wanted.
Recently refurbished to a high standard, it is very private with its own entrance and has 4 comfortable double bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and the use of a private pool.
There are two large terraces and porches with spectacular views of the mountains and surrounding countryside; the blue waters of the Mediterranean can also be seen from the terraces. Sipping a long cool drink and watching the sunset from the terrace is a truly unforgettable experience.
Both sitting rooms are spacious and open directly onto a shaded, comfortably furnished terrace. A large gas barbecue is situated on one of the terrace for `alfresco´dining.
The modern country kitchens are fully equipped with a 4 burner hob, an electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, large fridge freezer, kettle, coffee makers and a wide selection of utensils.
The house is close to the charming villages of Jete, Otívar, and Lentejí - there you will find a variety of reputable local restaurants where the food is predominantly locally grown. Supermarkets, a daily fruit, vegetable and fish market and a weekly clothes and pottery market can all be found in the nearby town of Almuñécar.
For walkers and wild life lovers,the Sierra Almijara and the foothills of the Sierra Nevada offer some wonderful walking throughout the year. Keen birdwatchers will regularly see such birds as kestrels, brown eagles, hoopoe birds, honey buzzards and many other varieties seldom seen in Northern Europe nowadays.
Other nearby beauty spots include waterfalls near Otivar and the wildlife park in the Peña Escrita. A beautiful secluded bay about 20 minutes drive away is an ideal place for enjoying the sun and swimming followed by a mojito and tapas at one of the picturesque beach bars.
Traditional white Andalusian villages are situated in the mountains about an hour´s drive from the villa.
For those who enjoy a game of golf, there is a golf course located about 15 minutes drive away in Granada Beach .
A drive of just over an hour will take you to The Alhambra and cultural attractions of Granada.
The Sierra Nevada is only 1 hour away, where you can ski some part of the year.
Until end of March, only one part of the house will be available (the apartment including two bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen, living room, porche and terrace for 4 people).
