This villa is both comfortable and practical to live in. It has been furnished as a family home and offers the attention to detail that makes it so much more than just another rental property.

Casa Marina is a lovely 5 bedroom villa with a pool which can sleep 10 (or 11, if using a fold up bed suitable for a child) plus up to two infants in travel cots.
It is situated on the edge of a small fishing village allowing you to enjoy fabulous views over the Mediterranean.Tucked away at the end of a lane, it is not overlooked, so you can relax and enjoy your holiday in privacy while still being very close to beaches and all amenities. Casa Marina has one of the best views in the area which you can enjoy from both inside and out.

Ideal for a large family, two or three families holidaying together or groups of friends. This villa has a large lounge and spacious terraces. You will be able to relax and enjoy the company of friends and family and chill-out by the pool.There is also a Wii to keep the kids amused.

All five bedrooms have en suite shower rooms which ensures privacy for all. There is a large, airy lounge with sea views, a kitchen/diner and a BBQ area with two BBQs. You can choose to cook with gas or charcoal or use both together. There is also an office/study and the villa has a WiFi connection.

Notes
Casa Marina is situated on the edge of Mezquitilla, a small fishing village only 15 minutes from Nerja. The area is perfect for family holidays or for groups of friends who want to relax together.

Mezquitilla and Casa Marina have often been described by our guests as "The Costa Del Sols best kept secret!" If you visit you will understand why!

There are a good variety of beaches to choose from all along the coast, all with their own unique features.

The atmosphere in the evenings along the paseos is lovely as this is the time that Spanish families get together in summer. It is common to see young children playing happily, even at 11pm or later! There are many childrens play areas along the paseos and some beaches have ping pong tables available free. There are even exercise areas for adults.

There are many excellent restaurants and chiringuitos in the area, all of which welcome children. Stroll along the paseo and youll be spoilt for choice of places to eat!

Torrox, which is only a five minute drive away is known as having the best climate in Europe! Ideal for your holiday!

Driving and parking in the area is surprisingly easy. There is a low density of traffic here so hardly ever any traffic jams and theres plenty of parking near to beaches and other attractions.
Please note that the villa is situated half a kilometer along an unmade track.

PRICES REDUCED FOR 2012!

The pool can be heated outside of summer although there is a supplement for this of €150.

Please note that although this ad may say we have six bathrooms, this is a default setting that we can't change. We have six shower rooms, not bathrooms.










A deposit of 30% is required at the time of booking with the final payment becoming due 8 weeks before arrival.

We also require a refundable damage deposit of €500. This is fully refundable after your holiday assuming there is no damage or unreasonable cleaning costs.

High chairs and travel cots are provided. Please request these in advance.


Please note that as the pool is unsecured a high level of supervision is needed for young children.

The owners live in a separate apartment on site so can be easily contacted if you should want any help or advice. Your privacy will be respected at all times.

I already want to go back!

This place is amazing and Marina and Richard are terrific. The house was just perfect for our crowd of my husband and me and six twenty somethings, who wanted things to do there, things to do near, and everything you need for great family dinners. The view is even more beautiful than the pics, the garden is fantastic, the roominess and privacy better than expected (and that is without using all of the outdoor space!) and the house was exceptionally well appointed. From our experience it was ALL good save for pool heater didn't really get warm enough to swim other than a couple of days. Would recommend anyone new to the area do some homework in advance (like all the good stuff in Marina's books) or spend more time than we did getting logistical info up front. Also "next time" we would rent bikes or cars so everyone could have more options for doing things independently. I would recommend this place to anyone and have already!

A wonderful villa in beautiful area

The villa was exactly as advertised. Very well equiped with more than enough to keep all our family happy, from the pool to TV games. The pool area and outside BBQ was just the perfect place to relax and enjoy our time there. We couldn't find a fault, it was spotlessly clean and Marina and Richard had left us the most wonderful welcome pack of fresh fruit,wine etc. There are plenty of bars closeby that do fantastic meals for a very reasonable price too. Thankyou for letting us share your wonderful villa, hope to return next year.
