Our delightful holiday cottage with a private swimming pool has been carefully restored for a couple to enjoy their holiday together in the peace and quiet of rural Andalucia, Spain.

Situated in a beautiful hillside garden with fabulous views and a private pool, the location is genuinely "no children" offering you tranquility and seclusion.

The holiday cottage is well located for sightseeing in Granada, Córdoba and Antequera whilst near to local villages for you to enjoy all the traditional delights of rural Spain.

Al-Queria is an attractive and well fitted little house providing a cosy, comfortable, romantic hideaway holiday for a couple who just want to relax, unwind and escape from the pressures of modern life.

We offer a self catering vacation in Spain without children, secluded but not isolated, for grown-ups to enjoy the peace and quiet.

We do not have facilities for children or infants.

The front door leads to the sitting room with "Al-Andalus" Moorish styling, a sofa, T.V. and DVD player, wood burning stove and a ceiling fan. There is a selection of DVD titles, books and board games.

Steps lead to the kitchen which has a gas cooker, grill and oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and full compliment of utensils, cutlery and tableware. There is also a table and chairs. We supply a range of herbs, spices, etc..

The stairs lead up to the Arabic style bathroom with a shower over a bath, washbasin, a large mirror with good lighting, a hair dryer, power points and a radiator under the towel rail.

The "Arabian Nights" bedroom has a king size bed (2.00m x 1.60m) draped in exotic fabric, ceiling fan, wardrobe, drawers, a convector heater and views across the valley. We supply bath robes for your use.

All of our windows have insect netting.

The secluded patio is adjacent to the garden and pool terrace with its own shaded area and barbeque. The large garden (50m x 16m) is surrounded by our own olive grove of 30,000 square metres.

Al-Queria is clean on your arrival and every 7 days after on request. Towels are changed mid week. Our prices include all electricity, gas, water, a welcome pack of groceries, towels, bed linen and firewood during the cooler months.

AlQueria

The place and its owners highly surpassed our expectations, though as a former examiner I was considered as one of te most strict/demanding. We had wonderful ten days there. Nature we have not seen before, though we considered ourselves as knowledgable in this respect, a garden like from a fairy-tale, full of flowers and this in a west-europeen luxury and at the same time in an old willage - andalusian atmosphere.

Fabulously relaxed stay at well appointed cottage

Fabulous holiday which exceeded our expectations. We wanted a place to relax as well as a base to adventure from. This cottage was perfect. The hosts are helpful and meet your every request with a smile. The out door space is really special. Not only is there a private pool with terraced area for sun loungers, but there are several different places you can sit and enjoy the solitude with no-one but the birds for company. There is a BBQ area which is under cover, or the secret bench under the shade of the tree but my particular favorite, are the two loungers over looking the valley. Perfect for the first glass of Rioja of the evening. The cottage has managed to marry rustic charm with luxury. Touches such as a DVD player, Wifi connection, welcome pack, plush bath robes made us feel really at home and relaxed.
