If your dream of a vacation with castle atmospher and touch of history, in peaceful surroundings with many walking tracks, a splendid view over the landscape and many different activity and excursions possible, not the least to Barcelona, Castell Trissor would be a very good choice.

The house is situated above the surrounding landscape in central Catalonia, not far from the town Cardona, and about 1 hour drive from Barcelona. In ancient times, the situation was selected to secure overview over possible hostile entrants. As seen on many bigger Catalan properties, the house has a chapel on the property, dedicated to the San Francisco de Asís.

The house is constructed with typical materials such as limestone walls and tiles inside, keeping the house cool even on the warmest summer days. Distributed on two floors, there are in total 6 bedrooms. Three of the bedrooms are three-bed rooms and three are double rooms. For your disposition there are three bathrooms.

There is a very large dining room ensuite with a sitting room with chimney, TV and DVD. The house has a modern kitchen with all commodities such as dishwasher, micro wave and washing machine.

The outdoor facilities are also excellent. There is a small terrace on first floor. Additionally, there is from the extensive, tiled court yard access to a beautiful room with table tennis, a covered terrace with outside-kitchen and not the least the very nice pool-area with sun beds, which is fenced for the safety of small children.

Nearby, there are many walking tracks, and horse riding is possible in a farm in the nearby village. The situation centrally in Catalonia makes it possible to reach more or less every corner of Catalonia from Girona, Figueres with the Dalí museum and Costa Brava in the north , Barcelona and the wine district of Penedés below, and Tarragona in the south.

When booking the property, a deposit equal to 40% must be paid within 8 days to secure the booking. The remaining amount is to be paid to the property-owner whne you arrive. By cancellation more than 2 months before arrival, half of the deposit will be refunded. By cancellation less than 2 months before arrival, the deposit is not refunded.
