A bright, sunny garden apartment, with new kitchen and bathrooms. The living room, with gardens on two sides, has French windows leading to the patio and garden. Patio furniture, including sunbeds, is provided, as well as a barbecue. The living area has two comfortable sofas, and a range of occasional tables. There is a TV, DVD player, CD player and radio, games, books and DVDs.

The dining area has a table and seating for up to 8 people (the table is extendable).

The new kitchen is fully fitted, including a dishwasher, cooker and hob, microwave, toaster, fridge/freezer and washing machine. You will find everything you would want or need. There is also a breakfast bar.

The master bedroom (king size double bed) has French windows leading to the garden. Its en suite bathroom includes a bath and shower over. The second bedroom has two single beds, and the house bathroom includes a shower. Both bedrooms have plentiful storage. There is a single futon in the lounge for a fifth guest.

The apartment is on a small Spanish style complex, and has its own communal pool. There are a wide range of sporting and cultural activities in the immediate neighbourhood, (tennis and golf are obviously well known, but try paddel for a change - or just enjoy watching!). The tennis club, which is open to visitors, is a very short stroll away, and has a restaurant and cafe bar, as well as a beautician, a gym (and exercise classes, which you can join for a small fee), a swimming pool and a hairdressers. There is also a wide range of restaurants nearby, on foot or by car, bus or taxi.

Just a short 25 minute drive from Malaga airport, it is 4km from the enchanting village of Mijas, and the same distance from the vibrant town of Fuengirola. In addition it provides an excellent base for touring further afield. Malaga is only 25 minutes drive away, Granada can easily be reached in less than 2 hours, but Gibraltar, Cadiz, Cordoba and Seville are all within a days journey - not to mention Madrid via the high speed train link at Malaga.

There are lovely walks in the hills around Mijas, and Fuengirola has a fantastic beach, as well as a wide range of restaurants, bars and nightclubs. Shopping is a must, whether in the local markets or in nearby Puerto Banus and Marbella.

Hi. I bought my lovely apartment in the Lew Hoad tennis village over 10 years ago, because I enjoy the tennis and sports facilities there as well as the beautiful ambience. Unfortunately, being a lawyer, and working hard, I don't get as much chance as I would like to spend in it, but I'm delighted that you are interested and may be thinking of booking a holiday.
