Holiday townhouse for rent in Lecrin

Casa Roma is a two bedroomed house in a quiet corner of the Tia Maria site. The entrance is from a shady patio which has large double wooden doors to the street. This gives privacy enabling the guest to use the patio as a seating area in the event that the roof terrace is too hot! Entering the house there is an open plan living room, kitchen and dining area. The kitchen is equipped with gas stove, fridge freezer, and plenty of work surface and cupboards. The gas hot water heater is in the kitchen and the washing up area overlooks the patio. In the living room area there is a sofa and sofabed, a music centre, study area and Spanish TV. Winter heating is provided by an excellent Hergom cast iron woodburner. Upstairs to the bedrooms and large bathroom, the master bedroom and the twin bedded room both have built in wardrobes and there is a balcony overlooking the patio. Upstairs again takes you to the roof terrace with table and chairs, views of the hills & the roofs of the village.

La maison se situe dans l’enceinte de Casa Tia Maria, la « Casa Señorial » du village d’Acequias. Casa Roma est une maison confortable avec deux chambres, qui est accessible à partir d’un patio-jardin-piscine tranquille et possède une terrasse privée sur le toit.
A quelques pas de la porte sont les autres point forts de Tia Maria – un jardin muré et une piscine de 10m par 5m, située vers le sud-ouest. Pour la protection des jeunes enfants, il y a un portail entre la Casa Roma et la piscine et les chiens ne sont pas permis. La résidence contient six autres petites maisons ou appartements, plus l’appartement du gérant. Il est possible qu’une partie de ceux-ci sera également louée pendant cette période, mais il est probable que tout ne sera pas complet sauf le mi-aout. D'habitude, nous trouvons, même quand Tia Maria est complètement occupée, que les différents hôtes n’utilisent pas la piscine en même temps et que les règle de bonne conduite de cohabitation concernant le bruit tard dans la nuit, par exemple, s’appliquent.
Le village d’Acequias est idyllique, étant situé à la limite du parc national de la Sierra Nevada. A cinq minutes en voiture, Niguelas, un plus grand village contient des magasins et des bars à tapas, et même un centre culturel. Il est accessible à une demi-heure à pied par un chemin qui est très pittoresque, à n’importe quelle heure de la journée (le chemin est de bonne qualité !)
Acequias est facilement accessible à partir de l’autoroute Granada-Costa Tropical, qui est très proche, mais heureusement sans être assez proche pour l’entendre. La bénéfice de la proximité de l’autoroute par rapport à d’autres villages plus isolés ne peut pas être surestimée. Le premier monument national d’Espagne, Le palais et le château de l’Alhambra sont à 25 minutes, et vous n’aurez besoin d’un temps équivalent pour arriver à la plage. Pas loin d’Acequias également sont les pentes sud de la Sierra Nevada et les villages de l’Alpujarra, à partir d’Orgiva, qui a un marché animé tous les jeudis.
Ainsi, un séjour dans cette région sera inoubliable, et la première partie de juillet est une période idéale. La location de la maison inclut le nettoyage, l’utilisation du jardin et de la piscine, et toute l’information utile et l’assistance de notre gérant. Casa Roma in Tia Maria

We stayed in 2008 and enjoyed the comfortable modern house with a "homely feel" with bits of the owners pictures and painting around. The kitchen was big enough to eat in and we made good use of the washing machine. We bought fresh bread from the bread vans, and other supplies from the nearby villages, so a car is needed.

The peaceful location with easy access to the hills for walking, Granada for culture, and the coast for the sea, made it all a relaxing week, just the job for the "getaway from it all" break we needed.

Returning to the garden and the pool after a day of sightseeing was a treat, as was relaxing on the terrace with our drinks and books.

Wonderful countryside on the doorstep, recommended to friends, and we will go again.

This is a lovely house with an attractive garden and shared swimming pool. The pool is large and it was never crowded.

Casa Roma was perfectly clean and tidy when we arrived, and the owners are friendly and helpful. It is situated in a small village, perfectly situated between Granada and the seaside.

If you like walking fine, but you might need a car to stay here, because there are no facilities in or transport to the village. There are shops, restaurants and bars in the surrounding villages.

I recommend the house, without any hesitation.
