INTRODUCTION

Casa Muñeca is a 1 bedroom townhouse in the heart of Competa, which has been fully reformed keeping its charm and character. Totally authentic, it has cane and beam ceilings, rustic tiled floors, very thick walls and very nice Spanish neighbours! A very short walk from car parking and close to the main square. It is perfect for 1 or 2 people but will easily sleep 3. Casa Muñeca is registered as a Casa Rural with the Junta de Andalucia.
The house has been finished to a high standard and the furnishings chosen with care and attention to detail. The owner is British and an artist who lives locally, so help is never far away.
This house is lovely, welcoming and fully equipped. It consists of a sitting and dining room (radio/CD player, Satellite free to view TV),single bed and sofabed, kitchen with ceramic hob, double bedroom, bathroom with spacious shower (constant hot water), utility room (with washing machine) and sunny roof terrace with a splendid view over the village rooftops to the sea.
A welcome food basket is included with the rental rates.

Competa is 15 kms inland from the beaches and nestles in the foothills of the Sierras National Park. It is a thriving village with all facilities surrounded by spectacular countryside. Walking is a favourite activity especially in the cooler months but you can also ride horses and trail bikes, play tennis, mountain bike or swim (pool or beach) as you wish. For those staying longer there are Spanish courses and painting classes, please ask for details. All activities on offer can be organised for you in advance if you wish. Malaga airport pick up available , ask for prices.

Notes
At street level Casa Muñeca has a light-filled open plan dining and sitting room with table and chairs to seat 4 people. A 2 seater sofa (single sofabed) a single bed divan, TV (freesat from UK), CD player and radio.
3 steps up from the sitting / dining room is the small, fully equipped kitchen with stone worktop, electric hob, mini oven, toaster, juicer, plates and glasses, cutlery, pots, pans etc. The double bedroom upstairs has an en suite bathroom with a large shower. Linen and bath towels are provided.
Opposite the bedroom is the utility room where you will find the washing machine, iron and ironing board.
Stairs lead from there to the small roof terrace which overlooks the village rooftops down the valley to the sea. Relax up here with a book or a glass of Competa wine.

The rental rates are inclusive and a welcome food basket will be there for your arrival. Heating in the winter months is provided by gas and electric heaters. Linen and towel changes once per week or as arranged. Neither the village nor the house are easy for the elderly or infirm to negotiate, there are some steep streets and stairs.

Notes
Xmas and New year and Easter weeks are charged at high season rates. The rental price is for the house per week. A 50% deposit is required to confirm a booking and the balance is due 4 weeks prior to travel. Late bookings (within 4 weeks of travel) must be paid in full when booked. Damages deposit required which is fully refundable if the house is left as found. There is a small extra linen and utilities charge for more than 2 people. Linen and towel change by arrangement for stays of more than one week. Discounts offered for stays longer than 3 weeks, please ask the owner. Changeover day can be flexible.
