Large, comfortable, quite and lightly apartment. Restored in 2007 it is a cute apartment, ideal for 4-6 persons.
Excellent located in the heart of Gothic area, in a pedestrian street, a quite and safe area. Ideal for visiting the most important places just walking from the apartment (Las Ramblas, Palau de la Música, Liceo opera house, Cathedral, Plaza real, Boqueria market, Plaza del pi, Born area, Colon, the Port, Passeig de Gracia, La Pedrera, Casa Batlló, Plaza Catalunya, museo Picasso...). Barcelona beaches are only at 10-15 minutes walking from the apartment!
Very well communicated by public transport. Four metro lines and several bus lines at 3 minutes walking from the apartment.

Very nice stay but very bitter departure and bad treatment from property manager

Very nice apartment. Location was great and facilities were superbe. But property manager was very disrespectful, she was very rude and did not explain departure conditions properly. This created a very unconfortable situation when departing the apartment. Basically the time to return the deposit was agreed at 8 am but we still needed one more hour to be ready. Well, this did not go well with property manager (Mss. Merixell) who started yelling and cursing out loud about it... I would not use this proporty ever again if I had to deal with her again.

Most Enjoyable

Great location with easy walking distance to major sites and shopping. Our family ranged in age from 30 to 60 years and everyone was comfortable and delighted with the accommodations. Thank you very much for a great holiday.

Nice Apartment, Bad Experience

We stayed in the apartment with my wife's parents when we visited Barcelona in April, 2011. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and in a very central area of Barcelona. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend the apartment because the owner did not respond to our several requests for assistance to restore the hot water or wifi, both which stopped working the evening we arrived. For four days we were forced to take ice cold showers or go without. Highly recommend Barcelona; a beautiful, vibrant city.

Dear Clay, I am sorry we had this two problems on the arrival day. It was easter time and I couldn't find a plumber to repair the heating water. Finally on the last day it worked. About the wifi, I don't know what happened. My aplogies for the inconvenience this may have caused you. Of course, now they work both properly. Kind regards, Luis

Nice, safe and best place to live during our stay!

This was not the apartment, but id:7538, same owner.. BUT, I was definitely pleased and satisfied with the apartment, which was on La Rambla, best location, close to everything, nice staff and very good service. The apartment was everything that we wanted during our 6days in Barcelona. The booking process was very safe and quick. And good communication all the way. Also with the people living in the apartment. This apartment is good for a little family (we were 4 adults) and has everything. Inclusive a terrase with a great view and nice place for tan:-) I will definitely recommend Lluis Caldentey:-) Thank U!
