Holiday apartment for rent in Altea

This first floor apartment has a living room with sofa-bed
for 2 people, coffee table, TV, DVD player and music system. Wi-Fi Internet service is available for a small extra fee. The whole apartment has been decorated in a modern Spanish style. The kitchen has ceramic hob, electric oven, microwave oven, fridge/freezer, electric kettle, toaster, cafetiere, and washing machine plus a small table and 2 chairs.

The bedroom has a double bed with 2 bedside tables and lamps, a
chest of drawers, a built in wardrobe, and wooden chair. Air conditioning is installed. The ensuite bathroom includes WC, ceramic shower and wash basin. The house has air conditioning in the main bedroom plus fans and heating (should it be required!) is provided.

We provide all bed linen and bath towels. We ask our guests to please bring their own beach towels.

A special discounted price will apply for stays of 2 weeks or more.

Alteas pebble beach is 5 minutes walk away and has a superb selection of restaurants and tapas bars along the seafront. There are a good selection of shops available both in Altea and in nearby Calpe. Altea station has trains at roughly 1/2 hourly intervals north to Denia and south to Benidorm and Alicante. Altea in common with most other towns in the area, have a weekly street market.
The old town of Altea boasts a wide range of restaurants and bars from the value-for-money "menus del dia" to Michelin starred a la carte.
The church square is at the pinnacle of the Old Town and is a 500 metre walk from the house.
There are organised walks to the Sierra Bernia mountain range which embraces Altea, these take place out of peak season for obvious climate reasons. There is a swimming pool in the Cap Negret Hotel which you can use this is about 2 km by the N332 in thr direction of Calpe, there is also one at the Barbacoa Tennis Club/Restaurant for general public use at a charge of about 3 euros a day and is a 1 km walk from the house.
Altea has a beautiful new theatre which stages superb productions of opera, classical and traditional spanish music and ballet. There are several gallerys around the town as Altea has been popular with artists since the 1960s.
