This apartment is situated in the old quarter of Altea, in a quiet traditional street,
The beach is at 3-4 minutes walk, shops, vegetable market, supermarkets, banks, bakers etc are at 3 minutes just walk away. Restaurants, cafés and bars are 3-4 minutes walk, the main church square is at 2-3 minutes walk, and the tourist information office 3-4 minutes walk.
This first floor apartment has a living room with sofa-bed for 2 people, coffee table, TV, DVD player and music system. Wi-Fi Internet service is available free of charge. The whole apartment has been decorated in a modern Spanish style. The kitchen has ceramic hob, electric oven, microwave oven, fridge/freezer, electric kettle, toaster, cafetiere, and washing machine plus a small table and 2 chairs. Bed linen and towels are provided.
The bedroom has a double bed with 2 bedside tables and lamps, a
chest of drawers, a built in wardrobe, and wooden chair. Air conditioning is installed. The ensuite bathroom includes WC, ceramic shower and wash basin. The house has air conditioning in the main bedroom plus fans and heating (should it be required!) is provided.
We provide all bed linen and bath towels. We ask our guests to please bring their own beach towels.

Altea has a superb selection of restaurants and tapas bars along the seafront. There are a good selection of shops available both in Altea and in nearby Calpe. Altea station has trains usually at 1/2 hourly intervals north to Denia and south to Benidorm and Alicante. Altea in common with most other towns in the area, has a weekly street market.
The old town of Altea boasts a wide range of restaurants and bars from the value-for-money "menus del dia" to Michelin starred a la carte.
There are organised walks to the Sierra Bernia mountain range which embraces Altea, these generally take place out of peak season for reasons of warm weather. There is a very nice open air swimming pool at the Barbacoa Tennis Club/Restaurant for use by the general public at a charge of about 3 euros, and only about 10 minutes walk from the house, at the same distance is Altea's main public indoor swimming pool.
Altea has a beautiful new theatre which stages superb productions of opera, classical and traditional spanish music and ballet. There are several gallerys around the town as Altea has been popular with artists since the 1960s.
