Holiday apartment for rent in Barcelona

This apartment is located on the third floor of a lovely Barcelona building, finished in the early nineteenth century. Although the building is more that one hundred years old, the apartment block boasts a fully functioning elevator. The vacation rental has many updated features, including tasteful decoration and lighting, with a few bright splashes of colour. Also of note is the polished mosaic floor, a rarity amongst modern housing. There is also a balcony, which fills the whole apartment with light.


The apartment is certainly up to scratch, and has everything we could think of to make your stay run as smoothly as possible. This includes a wide screen television, complete with a DVD drive, for a cosy night in with a bottle of wine and a good Spanish film. There is WI-FI to keep you up to date with the world at large, and a washing machine and dishwasher to make sure you can keep your home away from home spic and span with out any trouble. There are two bedrooms, and individual and a double. If more sleeping accommodation is needed in your serviced apartment, the couch can be made up into a bed. An extra maid service is also available for sixty euros.

This is a very quiet neighbourhood, and the perfect place to unwind after a day in Barcelona, in your very own Barcelona apartment. With so many great features, it might be difficult to actually venture out of your apartment! There are plenty of cafes, internet cafes, supermarkets and banks to provide you with all the necessary amenities. It takes very little time to enter the heart of the city from here – the Tamarit apartments are only a five minute walk from the multinational area of El Raval, and then on to Las Ramblas.


There is also a metro stop very close by at the local San Antoni market, which can take you to all the tourist attractions of Barcelona in less than twenty minutes. One of the places with the best views of Barcelona is Park Guell, which helpfully is also free – a rare occurrence in a big European City! Looking over the whole city from the hillside about the Barcelona area of Gracia, it also features the architecture of Antonio Gaudi, including the longest bench in the world.
