The apartment is in an area of Barcelona called south Eixample, but sits on the outskirts of El Raval, inside where the medieval city walls used to be. The surrounding area had an incredibly varied cultural heritage, and this shows itself in the variety of international choices available in the local restaurants.

The must visits of Barcelona include Gaudi’s La Sagrada Familia, Casa Batlló and La Pedrera. These were all completed during the turn of the century by Antonio Gaudí, Barcelona’s most innovative of architects.
