The property is situated in the beautiful, safe and family friendly village of Playa Honda,on the outskirts of La Manga Strip. The property is on two floors and has a large garage attached. Downstairs the property has a large living room, kitchen and seperate dining room along with two small brick roof conservatories which are perfect for relaxing in the evening. There is also a downstairs bathroom with shower. Upstairs are three bedrooms with terraces from two including a 18 metre square terrace off the front bedroom and a further bathroom. There is a large outside area and the property shares a large communal garden with neighbouring villas which is available to enter anytime and simply relax and enjoy the beautiful plants and trees or to let the children play in a large, safe, enclosed area. This area is floodlit in the evening.
The property is situated just 200 metres from the beach which offers a section of non motorised water sports. One of the largest parks in the area is situated just 100 metres from the property, the park also has a large area perfect for skating or skateboarding.During July and August there is a small fair which is set up just a 2 minute walk from the property, in the church grounds consisting of around 4 or 5 rides including trampolins and bouncy castles, this is perfect for children A two minute walk will take you to a small complex of 2 English bars and 2 Spanish bars and a 5 star busy bars and numerous restaurants of La Manga Strip, Los Belones and Cabo de Palos are only a five minute drive away. Motorised watersports are available a 5 minute drive or bus ride away on the many beautiful beaches of La Manga Strip(a 20 minute walk away.)La Manga Club with it´s world famous golf course and sporting facilities is also only a 5 minute drive away. During July, August and September there are thatched beach bars erected on the beach which stay open until the early hours and at the end of July beginning of August the local summer fiestas take place which are held in the large park in Playa Honda and include puppet shows for children and live music by popular Spanish artists. (There are also fiestas in the neighbouring village of Playa Paraiso a mere five minute walk away which include bingo and a giant foam party).
A twenty minute walk by beach (or 10 minutes by bicycle) will bring you to the start of the La Manga Strip. Famous for it´s many sandy medditeranean beaches on one side and The Mar Menor on the other this is an area that must be seen. The beautiful fishing village of Cabo de Palos is a 5 minute drive away, with it´s fantastic selection of restaurants and bars this is also a must and boasts some of the best fish restaurants around.
If you enjoy walking or biking this area is perfect with mainly flat highways and many walking areas including the popular clifftop walk from the natrue reserve of Calblanque to Cala Reona.(Bike hire is available)
The nearby fishing village of Cabo de Palos hosts a market every Sunday which is one of the most popular in Spain and attracts visitors from all across Murcia.
Although the property does not have a full swiming pool it has a large outside area and there is a new 366 cm round Intex easypool which is great for children or fantastic for adults to cool off or enjoy a relaxing float on a lilo!
This really is the perfect location for anyone. Set in quiet peaceful surroundings but with all amenities close by if you require something a little livlier!
