The apartment
Comfortably furnished and fully equipped, the apartment comprises 104 square metres of living space on the top floor of a three–storey building in the centre of the resort. An inside staircase leads to an extensive private roof terrace with views of the surrounding area, the mountains and the sea, seating, sunbathing and dining areas and a built–in BBQ. There is a reserved underground parking space with direct lift(elevator) access to the apartment. Amenities include: heating, air–conditioning, washing machine/dryer, dishwasher, ceramic stovetop, oven, microwave, coffeemaker, hairdryer, safe, cable TV, DVD player, community WIFI. With one king–size bed (180cm), twin beds, and two single bed–chairs in the breakfast area, the apartment can sleep 6 (maximum of 4 adults).

The location
Hacienda del Sol is a recently built beach complex 14 kilometres from Marbella and Estepona and approx. 65 kilometres from Malaga and Gibraltar airports. There is a 24-hour concierge in the guardhouse at the main entrance and the complex is fully enclosed and monitored by CCTV. The Spanish–style terra cotta buildings are set in spacious subtropical gardens and grouped around six landscaped swimming pools. The complex offers an on–site gym, open–air Jacuzzi, padel tennis courts and a children’s playground. The beach, shared with Marriott’s Playa Andaluza Vacation Club and the nearby Hotel Atalaya, is an easy five–minute walk. Services include two chiringuitos (beach restaurants) and a water sports equipment rental kiosk. A variety of restaurants, pubs and shops, including a pharmacy and a supermarket, are within walking distance (7 – 12 minutes) of the property. A 15–minute drive brings you to a number of golf courses, including El Paraiso, Atalaya and Guadalmina. There is a taxi rank near the complex and another across the road behind the shopping centre. A car is not essential but recommended if you want to take full advantage of everything the Costa del Sol has to offer.
