There are several villages that you would be able to visit , Ronda,Mijas and Ojén.
Above all, villages of the coast such as Marbella ( located in "Costa del Sol"), only 57km far from the city. You will have the opportunity to do an excursions to Granada in order to visit his historical Alhambra wich is only 129km far from Malaga, and also, Cordoba with his monumental Mezquita, only 187km far, and Seville is 217km of distance.
