3rd time, still lucky

For the 3rd spring in a row we decided to return to our spiritual home, Casa Martin, and once again our expectations were surpassed. It really is a stunning location to experience the beauty of the Spanish spring, being on the edge of a natural park and just far enough away from the madding crowd to totally forget about the day job. The local network of paths and trails is ideal for hiking, mountain biking and trail running, all which I did in abundance - the perfect way to fully appreciate the flora and fauna. Plus I can think of no better way to chill out at the end of the day than wallowing in the hot tub while watching the sun set behind the hills. Our love of rural Andalucia has been recharged yet again, and we will definitely be back.

you must go

Bob and Gunny have a really nice place to go and un wind and chillax. Its a place you must go to and experience the loud noise of nothing. In a nut shell this is the sort of place you see in magazines and wonder what it would be like. Well let me tell you it is something you have to experience. Quietness, fantastic views, fresh air and total relaxation. The house is great and is the only one we have visited for a second time. Will we go back. You bet we will. Evening under the stars in the hot tub with a glass of wine, is much better than sitting in watching Eastenders. Go on do it. Book it Sam and Karen (feb 2012)

Casa Martin

My wife and I have been to the Casa Martin a number of times now, and have never been disappointed. Bob and Gunny are always on hand if needed, but are very discreet and unobtrusive. The facilities are excellent, the villa is designed with comfort in mind and is suitable for disabled visitors. The setting, being handily placed for visiting interesting local villages, and fairly close to the sea, is ideal if you are looking for a peaceful break. The hot tub, with it's view across the valley, is a massive bonus. I would have no hesitation in recommending the Casa Martin.

Casa Martin

Excellent Accommodation and hosts. We could not fault the short break we had and will certainly be returning. Every detail was catered for down to the directions from the owner in picture form that took us straight to the door. Often accommodation like this says “remote or secluded” and you find it overlooked or next to a busy road this one certainly is neither of these, it is a lovely peaceful retreat. Marked the area down only slightly because of the access up the hillside but we loved the couple of Km of track rather than road and we managed it no problem in a fiat panda. So I would not be put off and the views are spectacular. Reluctant to give a good review as we would like to keep this place to ourselves however we have already recommended it to family and friends.
